Hello. Let me introduce myself. I am Brandi. I am 10 years old. I came in with my brother Skippy and have been with him since day one. We are very attached to each other, so when we find our furever family and are adopted, we will be adopted together. We eat together, sleep together, drink together, pee together, walk together. We do everything together. Foster mom calls us her two peas in a pod shadow. :) We were outside dogs and we are really loving this indoor stuff once we got used to it. At first I wasn't too sure about going in the house and then was not sure about going outside, but now I go right out and come right in. For having been an outside dog, I have to tell you that I have not had one accident in the house. It is like I somehow just knew that you do not potty in the house. Foster mom is very proud of me.

I have a little trouble getting up on the tile and hardwood floors. Foster mom is not sure if it is just because I am not used to them. I get along with the three residents dogs and just ignore the cats. I love love love attention and I am a love bug. I come when my name is called and I will sit when you ask me to. I take treats ever so gentle.

I like to explore in the backyard so a physical fence would be the best for me. I am told that if I did not have a physical fence, I would wander and I really do not think I would like a tie-out.

Once I learn more about myself, I will let everyone know. If you want twice the love and attention from an Old Gold, then Skippy and I are certainly the puppers for you. Just let your placement advisor know.

I am the shorter one.

Updates

I'm here to tell everyone that my brother Skippy and I have been adopted by a very, very wonderful gal and we will be soooo happy in our new fur-ever home. We will certainly miss our foster mom (now Auntie Kay), foster dad (now Uncle Bob), our foster siblings, both canine (all 3) and feline (all 3). We will be spoiled even more rottener than we are right now, but that is okay because we are going to be right where we need to be. We are also soooo happy that we will be "home" for Christmas.

I have to tell you that foster mom took Skippy and I to get weighed and I now weigh 58.60 lbs, down from 64.80. Wait until you read about Skippy!!!!! I continue to be the most loving dog. I like lots of attention. But I have picked up a bad habbit. If there is any paper or magazines left around that I can get to, I tear them all to pieces. So foster mom and foster dad just need to be real careful not to leave these things around where I can get to them.

Last month when Skippy and I went to the Iowa Pet Expo, we made sure that everybody that passed by us wanted to pet us and pay attention to us. We didn't find anybody that we did not like and everybody liked us. We plan on being at the meet and greet in Coralville, Iowa, on Saturday, Nov. 30th.

I wore the vest to get donations and it really worked.

If you want two peas in a pod and all the lovin' that you can stand, then we are the puppers just for you. Let your placement advisor know and we can hopefully get the ball rolling, or is that the peas rolling.

I am behind in my update, so I need to get to it and let you know how I have been. I just can't tell you enough what a good girl that I am. Foster mom is still amazed that I have not had one accident in the house after being an outside dog like I was. I have really gotten to like the woobies and the chew bones in this place. I will just walk around and carry the woobies around in my mouth. Sometimes I chew on the chew bones. Foster mom found out that I do not really like the thunder and the lightning. I am not distructive at all; I just pace and pant and want to be by the humans, or I try and find a spot and hide.

I am a very, very easy girl to have around. I do, however, like LOTS and LOTS of lovin' and will follow you around so I make sure that you give me all of that lovin' that I like. So if you want double the fun, double the licks, double the lovin', and double the puppers, then Skippy and I are just for you, and you will not be sorry one bit. Just contact your placement advisor to get the ball rolling.

I like to sit in this cornor a lot.

I'm back to tell you some more about me. I went to see the good doctor for a few things. I was microchipped and had a good going-over. I weighed in at 64.8 lbs. Foster mom thinks that I may weigh a tidge more than that as I would not sit still on the scales. I wanted to be where Skippy was and I was determined to go stand by him. My "poop" test came back negative. I have drops that go in my eyes twice a day because I have this matter stuff in my eyes, but the good doctor said that the drops will help that go away. I don't balk or even flinch when foster mom puts them in my eyes. She says that I am the best pupper. Even when I came into RAGOM and she spent ALL that time cutting out all of the nasty matts on me, I didn't even balk, flinch, or make a sound.

I am getting use to the tile floors and the wood floors and I am geting up on them better than when I first came here. I sure am liking this indoor living. I am still exploring and doing lots of smelling. I have learned "no" and "ack" when it comes to the waste basket in the bathroom when foster mom is in there and I am checking things out. Otherwise the bathroom door is kept shut. Also I have learned that when I do my good sniffing along the kitchen counters. I walk right along with my brother Skippy because he is tall enough that if there is something good there that he may share it with me since we do everything together. But I think that foster mom is smarter than we are because there is never anything good there to have. I have discovered that the deer antlers and the hard bones are really good to chew on. Also I like playing with the balls and like to carry them around. Once in a while I will pick up one of the stuffed woobies and carry it around. I don't play with the resident dogs. I just hang around with my brother Skippy. I don't even really play with him, I just "hang" with him. I am fine to have free roam of the house when the two-leggers are gone. I know my name and I will sit if you tell me to. I have not had one accident in the house. Pretty good for an old gal who has lived outside, huh? I have no aggression and I do not resourse guard my food, the chew things, the balls, or the woobies. I do pull when I am on a leash. We really have not worked on that either as it has been soooo hot here, so won't be doing any learning on that until it cools down a lot of degrees. Guess I will go for now and when I find out some more things about me I will let you know.

It you want all the love you can stand and even more, then Skippy and I are the puppers for you. It just means double the lovin' and double the fun. You will not be sorry. Contact your placement advisor to check us out.
