Bailey (Gia 13-152)

Profile

Please welcome Gia into the RAGOM world. Gia is one of the puppies from Mary Sue 13-118 born on May 19, 2013. She, along with her 8 brothers and sisters, was born in Kentucky before her mama could be brought to Minnesota. Gia has some Golden Retriever in her since Mary Sue is a Golden mix, we just are not sure how much as her father is unknown.

Gia, like her brother Dozer 13-151, is mostly blond with a white stripe starting on her head and going down her nose. She is already a bold little puppy. At her 4-week checkup, Gia weighed 4.05 lbs, making her the biggest puppy at that time. In the pile of puppies picture, she is on the far left.

We will keep you updated as this little girl’s personality comes out and she begins to explore the world.

Hello RAGOM,

Bailey's two legged sister here. We've had a pretty uneventful year here in the great north. Wishing there was some snow so that Ms. B could be in the environment she loves with all of her thick fur. Bailey is still the sweetest girl there is. Always so big on her cuddles and kisses. Even when we come home after a day at work she acts like it's been a year since we've seen her. We love that trait. We've been thinking a lot about getting her DNA tested so we have a little more of an idea as to what she is. The collie in her comes out frequently but since we don't know what her dad was we are at a loss as to what else is in this beautiful girl.

We have so much love in our hearts for Bailey. It's so hard to believe that she's two and a half. The time with these fur babies definitely goes by so quick. Thank you for another year of love with our girl. We can't wait for what 2016 has in store for B as well as he rest of our family.

Merry Christmas RAGOM, we love all you do!

I've attached some pictures of Bailey!

This is Bailey’s former foster mom.  Bailey’s family has sent in several sets of photos of her as she has grown up, but as it is her 2nd birthday on May 19, I wanted to make sure she knew her former fosters were thinking of her and wanting to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

As you can clearly see by the photos, Bailey is a stunningly beautiful girl.  We have had the privilege of seeing her the past 2 years at Goldzilla and hope we get to see her again this year.  Besides being a looker, Bailey is a sweetheart of a girl with a silky coat.  Her family adores her and you can tell it is mutual.

Happy Winter RAGOM!

Bailey’s two legged sister here to send you some updates on our beautiful girl. This past fall we lost our other dog, Sam, Bailey’s best friend. We didn’t think it would take such a toll on Bailey, but you could definitely tell she was out of sorts for a couple of weeks. It’s truly amazing that dogs have the same feelings that humans have, sadness, happiness, etc. Bailey was so sad that her friend was gone but was also such a good cuddler to her mom and dad during this tough time. She is truly a spectacular dog.

Bailey loves all things from ice cubes, to nylabones, to giving her people hugs when she hasn’t seen them all day. She has the most wonderful personality and even though we’ve had her for over a year now it’s still amazing to see her personality come out more and more everyday.

Bailey is really enjoying the snow (more than others in our house for sure). She’s definitely a snow dog. She loves putting her face in the snow and has also found a few treats (dead squirrels) for us while she’s been venturing outside.

She makes our family whole and we are very very lucky to have her.

That’s all for now! I have attached some pictures of her!

Lots of love sent to you all from Bailey and the rest of our family, thanks for all you do!

RAGOM,

Bailey's two legged sister here. Our sweet girl, Bailey had her first birthday on May 19th. She has brought so much joy into our lives since the passing of our golden, Brandy. Bailey has turned into a very shy but cuddly dog, always loving to be around her people. We call her our "aggressive chewer" and have had to buy special bones for her so that she won't get bored. She still loves up on her big sister Sam. She nibbles on her ears which we don't think Sam likes too much but she tolerates it. The one thing we've noticed is that no matter what, Bailey always looks like she's smiling and is always wagging her tail. We love her so much. We have been truly blessed to have her in our life and thank you so much for giving us our sweet love, Bailey. Thank you for all you do RAGOM.

I have attached some pictures.

Love,

The E Family and of course Miss Bailey

Hello everyone, Bailey here! I've been in my furrrrever home for about a month now and let me tell ya, I am spoiled rotten. I love my mom and dad and my 3 two-legged siblings and they love me just as much. I especially love my four-legged sibling, Sam (although, sometimes she just wants me to leave her alone). I am busy doing all my puppy things. My day usually consists of playing, sleeping, eating, and going potty outside A LOT. I really like being outside so I don't mind how many times my family takes me out.

I chew on everything! Mom thinks its because I'm teething so she gives me ice cubes, and I love those things! I also am the typical retriever, I love playing with balls and anything that rolls, including blueberries. My other favorite toy is my fox. It used to be Sam's favorite toy, but she's the best big sister and decided to give it to me.

I am getting really big. My family always comments on how big my paws are, sometimes it makes me self conscious but then I get excited because that means I'm gonna be a big dog. I love to cuddle, and I take full advantage of that while I'm small. My two-legged sibling, Ellis loves to pick me up and carry me around (I don't mind all the love from her before she goes back to college). My family knows it won't be long until I'm huge!

Well, that's all for now. I'm gonna go bug my sister, Sam! I have attached a couple pictures of how big I've gotten. Do you like my freckled nose?

Gia, now known as Bailey, has become such a sweet and gentle girl. When we first got her, she was very headstrong and determined to do what she wanted, but she has seemed to mellow out in the last couple of weeks. We didn’t know if Bella or Bailey would turn into the alpha of the group, but Bella has won that battle. Bailey has turned into a great cuddler and likes to be held while you walk around. She also likes to be petted, which is great as she has the silkiest coat of all of the puppies and it feels so nice to pet. Bailey has also taken to sitting next to me when she wants to be picked up rather than jump and whine. I will look down and she is just staring up at me with that sweet face. I don’t know how anyone can resist her.

We weighed the puppies on Sunday the 14th when they turned 8 weeks old. Bailey tied with Cinnamon as the biggest girls weighing 9.8 lbs. Ace and Nutmeg are both bigger than they are. It is hard to believe how fast these guys have been growing (littlest – 7.4 lbs, biggest – 10.6 lbs). They have doubled in weight since they arrived at our house and their energy level has more than doubled. Bailey is a typical puppy – playing hard and then sleeping hard. She runs around continually, playing chase and tag with her brothers and sisters. Bailey is one speedy girl.

She was spayed on Wednesday the 17th and picked up by her new family on the 19th where she will continue her recovery. Over the past few weeks, seeing this sweetheart’s personality come out, we have fallen completely in love with her. I know she is going to a family that will spoil her completely and love her totally, which made saying good-bye not as hard. We wish her the best as she continues to grow and explore the world around her!

Guess what guys, I found my forever family! I still have to wait a couple of weeks, but I will be going home – I cannot wait!! The E family came and met me over the weekend and fell in love with me. I think my puppy kisses and silky fur won them over. I will have three two-legged siblings to run and play with and a new furry sibling too (I hope he likes me). I will miss my mom and my brothers and sisters, but I am so excited to have found a family of my own!
