Boz (Nutmeg 13-150)

Profile

Please welcome Nutmeg into the RAGOM world. Nutmeg is one of the puppies from Mary Sue 13-118 born on May 19, 2013. He, along with his 8 brothers and sisters, was born in Kentucky before his mama could be brought to Minnesota. Nutmeg has some Golden Retriever in him since Mary Sue is a Golden mix, we just are not sure how much as his father is unknown.

Nutmeg is the only one of the bunch that is all blond. He is your typical playful pup and a total sweetie. I think he will be a little explorer when given the chance.

We will keep you updated as this little guy’s personality comes out and he begins to explore the world.

This is Boz’s former foster mom.  I wanted to share a couple of pictures I have received of this sweet little boy after he was adopted.  It was his 2nd birthday on May 19th) so I wanted to make sure he got a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY from his foster family!

When his family sent the pictures they commented that he was perfect and after adopting him they had wondered why they waited so long to get a dog.  He goes all over with them and gets to meet lots of new people and do lots of fun things.  Boz is well loved and will be cherished forever.

Nutmeg, now known as Boz, has gone home to his forever family. The family that adopted him are going to spoil him like crazy. He will get to spend lots of time at the lake where he will get to swim, play with other dogs, go out on the boat and have a blast.

Boz was neutered on Wednesday the 17th and came through with flying colors. Nothing was going to slow this sweet boy down. At 8 weeks old, he tied with Ace as the biggest puppy, coming in at 10.6 lbs (the littlest puppy was 7.4 lbs). The little ankle biter will be missed greatly, but he is truly going to a great home. We wish him all the best on his adventures and hope that we get to see what he grows up to be!

Hi guys, it’s me, Nutmeg. I get to tell you myself what has been going on with all of us puppies lately. And besides from the frequent baths, there has been a lot of fun stuff too.

This past weekend, there were lots of people to play with. They came to see me and my brothers and sisters. I haven’t found a forever home yet, but I know I will. There were lots of kids to chew on – some of them were pretty noisy and I was a little afraid. I kept running to a big person to make sure everything would be alright. I liked the kids once I realized that they were nice and were going to pet me. This weekend really wore me out. I slept tons! Then we all woke FM and FD up in the middle of the night for more playtime. Life sure is fun when you are a puppy!

Tennis shoes and slippers are some of my favorite chew toys! I don’t know why FM never wants me to chew on hers. She keeps saying something about needing shoe laces. I like to chew on the ropes and Nylabones we have too, but if one of my brothers or sisters takes it I will go right back to the nearest shoe. FM just says I am a puppy and will grow out of it, and in the meantime, I will need a lot of toys of my own to play with when I am little. Sounds good to me – you can totally spoil me with all of the toys you want to! We played with tennis balls and sticks out in the backyard this weekend. Tug-o-war with sticks is fun! Aunt Sammy, the dog who lives here all the time, played tug with me but she always wins. When I play with my brothers and sisters, I win a lot because I am on the bigger side.

FM says when I am not trying to chew her shoes, I am a pretty calm puppy. I like to sit on the sidelines and watch the others play. When a game looks really fun, I will go run and join them. I don’t get scared too easily either. There was a lawn mower next door, and I only got a little startled the first couple of times it came close. Big dog barks from the neighbor’s dog also startle me, but I am just a puppy after all. Someday I will be able to give big barks too. I don’t know how big I will get since FM says we don’t know anything about my dad.

We are going to the vet this Wednesday and I will get to see how much I have grown in the past couple of weeks. It is our six-week checkup. I think it will be a pretty fun time with all the new people to sniff and lick. FD says I give good puppy kisses and maybe I can find someone there to give some kisses too.

I really want to find a home of my own – one with lots of toys and some people to play with. I have been told that I am really sweet and like to cuddle when I am watching the others play. If you want me to come live and play with you, just let me know!!
