Bear is one of the newest members to the RAGOM family. He was surrendered due to his owner passing away. By Bear's personality you can tell he was very much loved and cared for.

Bear has been very busy since he was been here. He has made a trip to the groomer and was very well behaved there. The girls just loved him. He then made a trip to the vet in which he had blood work done on all of his major organs. Thankfully everything came back perfect. Bear came in with a thyroid condition and the blood work came back good in that area too. The only change we made was that his previous owner gave him his medicine once a day but now we have bumped it up to twice a day. The only concern the vet has is that Bear is 110 lbs. He needs to lose at least 20 lbs preferably 30 lbs.

Bear has been absolutely perfect since he has been here. He has no storm anxiety, gets along well with other dogs and can also have a cat as a companion. He is completely house trained and is not at all destructive.

Please do not let Bear's age shy you away as he is spunky, loves to be around his family and as the vet said, he is in perfect health. :)

Bear has found his forever home :).

He was adopted by a very excited and loving family who I know will spoil him dearly...And the best part is that he is the only pup in the house so he will be getting all the loving to himself. Bear likes other dogs, but has no problem pushing his way through a pack to get all the attention to himself.

I wanted to thank Beth for sponsoring him...I can not tell you how much we appreciate when someones reaches out to one of our babies to help with expenses. We couldn't reach out to so many fur butts without the support of Beth and all the other sponsors out there.

Amy...wanted to thank you for taking Bear to the Pet Co event last weekend...She told me how Bear was a hit, had the chance to meet Beth in person, and collected a lot of money wearing the RAGOM vest. Who can resist a face like his :)

Also Rachel and Aaron....THANK YOU so much for adopting Bear. I have to admit I was pretty shocked when I saw such a young couple coming up to my door to meet him. You looked beyond his young age of 12 yrs, saw the beauty in him and wanted to give him a loving home to live out his senior years. You guys rock!!! I know Bear's next journey in life is going to be a very sweet and loving one. Please remember to give him a hug and kiss at night for me :)
