Sadie 12-036

Profile

Sadie is continuing her post-op recovery and as her healing progresses, her personality has been shining through. Sadie is a seven and half years young Golden mix. She has been amicable with the six senior house felines and has developed a peaceful relationship with the resident basset/clumber spaniel. Sadie outranks the basset! Sadie is 100% housebroken, goes in her crate without a fuss and does not bark while in the crate. She sleeps on the floor, the couch and sometimes shares the bed. Sadie loves to be nearby and very patient when grooming is needed. ie. She laid down with tummy up when I needed to remove cockle burrs and it took a while! She is a counter surfer and likes to jump up to greet. We are working on redirection. Sadie has begun to be more playful. She fetches and drops the ball for you and recently has been enjoying a stuffed toy snake. This week Sadie will have a recheck and vaccination booster. What a wonderful dog!

Last night we had to say goodbye to our precious and loving friend, Sadie RAGOM #12-036. She had an excellent life with us, and we already miss her. She was such a sweetheart to us - we had a child since we got Sadie in June 2012, and she was so loving and caring of our daughter it was truly special.

Sadie ended up developing bloat last night (literally came on last night), essentially a twisting of the stomach.

During the past 3.5 years with us Sadie enjoyed many days spent on our red couches in the family room looking out into the backyard, car trips to the cabin, many long walks, watching over our new baby and continued to share a special bond with her as she got older, ice cream treats in the summer time, running around in our backyard, making snow angels and just being a loving companion to our family.

Sadie we love you so much and you are forever in our hearts. Take good care of your cousins up there!
