Dear RAGOM,
Thank you |
Our sweet Serena is still doing well. Her fur brother 10-232 Lucky was adopted and I think she and resident Mia are missing his playful and affectionate personality. She is such a funny girl, must be the first one to receive lovin’, get her leash on for a walk, play with a toy, etc….she’s always at the front of the line for everything.
She has a sweet smile and I finally caught it on camera! Don’t you want to meet this darling girl?! Please contact your Placement Advisor if you would like to learn more about our sweet girl!
Serena is still fantastic! She is such a wonderful dog I’m surprised no one has adopted her! She is sweet as can be, seems to think she is a two–year old puppy, healthy, well trained and affectionate. She was playing chase with resident Mia and 10-232 Lucky today enjoying the beautiful day. Check out our beautiful, sweet girl!
Serena has a new fur brother and she is showing him the ropes! 10-232 Lucky arrived this weekend and they are getting along well. She is teaching him about the golden life and how to walk well on a leash. We are hoping Lucky does not learn how to be a toy destroyer like Serena….this is only a small portion of the remnants in our yard! J She continues to be our smiley social butterfly and the popular girl in the neighborhood!
Just a quick update about our sweet girl, aka social butterfly, as she loves every person and dog she meets! She is spayed now, in perfect health and eating just like a normal Golden.
We are babysitting 10-199 Buckshot this weekend. Bucky and Serena came from the same commercial breeder, and she was very excited to see him again. Bucky is still very afraid and Serena has been especially comforting to him. She is so playful and confident that maybe Bucky will learn to trust people from her.
Buckshot, resident Mia and Serena had lots of fun playing in the yard today!
Serena has been with us for a week now and we LOVE her. She is so grateful for all the love and attention she can get her paws on, is a social butterfly and loves everyone! She has a few years to make up for and seems to be relishing every moment.
Serena learned about toys this week and is a toy destuffer, and does not yet know how to differentiate between doggie toys and kiddy toys. If she picks up something she isn’t supposed to chew, we just say “drop” and she immediately drops it. Good girl!
We walk every morning and Serena is so excited to get outside I can hardly get her leash on. Once we are outside, she looks back at me continuously as if to say “isn’t this cool! I’m free!”. When she and Mia are alone in the back yard, Serena rolls around in the grass and then runs back and forth across the yard.
Don’t let her grey mask fool you…..she has a young mind, body and soul. Please contact your Placement Advisor if you are interested in learning more about Serena.
Serena moved to a new foster home this weekend, and she is already settling in nicely. She is still funny about eating, but given the amount of change she has experienced in the past week, it’s understandable why she would be a bit stressed. She is as sweet as can be, gets along great with our resident Mia, and my two younger children. She wants to be with people and loved! For a dog that has lived outside her entire life, she sure is comfortable in a home – lucky girl! I’ll write more as we get to know her better. Here are a few pictures of our new cutie!
