From Cheyenne's forever family...
Greetings RAGOM fans -
We just wanted to send a quick update on Cheyenne. We adopted Cheyenne back in September 2008 and she has been such a joy! She is a GR mix - we believe she is part Springer Spaniel. You should see her run through our backyard - the way she jumps reminds us of a deer. It seems as if she has springs on her legs allowing her to simply fly through the air. She never lacks for attention as we are so in love with her.
We had a GR that we raised from puppyhood until she was 12 years of age. We had to put her down in June of 2007 due to some health issues complicated by her age. So needless to say - it is so wonderful to have a dog around again! Just this afternoon we took the kids (ages 3, 7 and 9) sledding at a huge hill not far from our home. We took Cheyenne with and she was so funny. She chased the kids down the hill on their sleds and then would race them to the top only to do it all over again. She certainly got a good workout and is resting as I type this.
Cheyenne came with very little history or information ... but we've said from the beginning that someone's loss was certainly our gain. She is well behaved, playful, affectionate and a pure delight. We are looking forward to the summer months as we like to camp and can't wait to share our adventures with the newest member of our family. Thank you RAGOM for all that you do for these wonderful animals!
Love -
