Our dear sweet Buddy Chappell (Niko 07-337, microchip 494 235 4B3F) passed away today.  He was not quite 11 years old.  After multiple xrays, ultrasounds and removing fluid off of his lungs, the vets think he had cancer.  We kept him comfortable as long as we could, but he crossed the rainbow bridge today.

We wanted to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU for sharing Buddy with us.  He was hands-down the best dog we have ever had the privilege of knowing.  He really should have been a therapy dog because he had a calming presence towards everyone he met.  He will be missed by many.  Thank you for the gift of Buddy's love, we will treasure it always.

It is with great joy that we announce that Niko, who is now named Buddy, was adopted by the C family. He went to his forever home on July 7th. We thought that Buddy had just the cutest puppy face, just like a little doll!! Many thanks to Buddy's sponsor Patricia Casagrande. We surely miss our little Niko boy, and wish him and his new family the best GOLDEN life to be had!!

Hi all,   I went to the vet today. I got a few of my shots, and a microchip. A clean bill of health all around. Barring any problems from the shots, the pup will be ready to go home on Saturday. Lots of love is being sent to my new family and my sponsor.

Dear Cole,
How are you? I really, really liked meeting you and your sister. I miss you a lot and can't wait until I come to live with you. Can I sleep in your bedroom with you? Today I got my first bath. I did not like it at all. My foster parents said I started to smell like 'smelly feet'; but that is just because I like to chew on shoes and dirty socks. If you promise to not give me a bath, I promise just to chew on your sister's stuff o.k.? I really miss you and can't wait to see you again.
