Dear RAGOM

We wanted to let you know of the passing of our dear Buddy (Gabe).  He was an incredible pet, friend and partner who was loved by all who knew him.  We adopted Buddy at a very difficult time in our older son's life.  Buddy was something to love and think about that wasn't a hospital.  Our younger son was always protective of Buddy especially as he got older.  Buddy was with us in the same house for 15 years.  We started walking him in the local park the spring after we adopted him.  We met new friends and so did he!  Those walks turned into 5 miles hikes and he always stuck with it.  In the last few months, all the "dog" neighbors would stop by with treats not knowing if it would be the last time they would see Buddy.   On the night we had to say goodbye, his boys were with him as he fell into a peaceful sleep.  

Thank you for making this incredible life and friend possible.

From Gabe's new family...

Jane and RAGOM crew -

Attached is a picture of Gabe (03-008). We have renamed him to Buddy. We spent a long time looking for an Indian name that befit his heritage but just couldn't find one. Lakotah was the closest we came (it means friend) but that was his mom's name.
