Dear RAGOM,
Our dear Dudley (03-121) journeyed to the Bridge in peace on November 10, 2015, surrounded by those that loved him. He will be forever missed but we know he is jumping off a dock and surfing a counter somewhere. We adopted him in June 2003 and picked him up the day we moved into our first house. He saw us get married. He learned to swim that summer after coming to us so afraid of water that he wouldn't step over a puddle, let alone swim in a lake. He became an amazing jumper off the end of the dock; he could go at least 10 feet! He welcomed his pal Bailey (Lightening 03-321) to our family in Dec. 2013 and he subsequently helped welcome and watch over our three kids born Oct. 2007, Nov. 2011, and Dec. 2014. He was a blessing to our family and a wonderful companion. Every day we cherished him. This November he was diagnosed with GI Lymphoma. Our family has so many wonderful memories of him; he had a long, healthy and happy life. We laid him to rest at the cabin in WI where he spent summers swimming, fetching, and basking in the sun. Thank you RAGOM for allowing us this blessing of a dog. He will always be family; he will always be loved. Sincerely, Andrew, Mauri, Raegan, Eliza, Louis, and Bailey B |
