We are proud to announce that precious Miss Ivy has been adopted by a wonderful family! She will have her own girl and boy to grow up with and a 4 legged big brother to play with and show her the ropes.

Little Miss Ivy is the absolute sweetest puppy! She and her three brothers were rescued from a breeder. She is a pure bred Golden Retriever who is 9 weeks old and has had her first round of vaccinations, has been micro-chipped, and is scheduled for spay on March 29th.
She is very energetic, loves to play and to be outdoors exploring, and is a great snuggler. She likes to be around people and other dogs. She wrestles with our 9 year old golden and they get along great. She knows “sit” and she does know what “no” means but, of course, doesn’t always listen. She spends much of her day in a large crate next to me so that she has room to play and so that I can keep an eye on her. She sleeps in a crate at night and does very well and will whimper if she needs to go out. We have started housetraining but still have plenty of work to do. After she plays for a while she will lie down and take a nap. When she wakes up, she needs to be taken out immediately so you have to be ready.
Ivy is very smart and catches on quickly. As with all puppies, she needs someone who has time to spend with her and pay attention to her. Everything about her tells me that she has the makings of a wonderful dog and lifelong friend who would love to be a part of your life.

Ivy continues to grow right before our eyes! She is definitely getting taller and she has gained 4 pounds. She is very, very treat motivated so we are working on "stay", "come", and "kennel up". House training is still a work in progress.
This weekend we spent plenty of time outdoors doing some yard work and she kept herself very busy discovering new areas of the yard that she hadn't seen before. She loves to go for walks to the park and is eager to meet anyone she sees. She is a great snuggler and always wants to be near us. She continues to amaze us with her love and puppy kisses!
