Allie received her Christmas present today. She was adopted by a loving couple with another male Golden Retriever . She is on her way to her forever home in West Fargo. I wish her the best in her new home and sent treats and a few old toys to make the transition easier for her. Huckleberry her playmate will miss her too, but glad she found a loving home.

Hi, all. I am still waiting to meet a family after their home visit. In the meantime, I wanted to send a few pictures of me. I love to play. Here I am playing with a companion (Huckleberry), and we actually look alike. I am on the left, and he is on the right. He came from Turkey, but we don't have language barriers. I get along with all size dogs.
I also am including one of me just chilling out on the floor.
I will let everyone know how the meeting goes.

Allie here to give an update.
I get along with all dogs.
I prefer another dog to play or lots of exercise to keep my energy level in check.
My foster mom says I eat way to fast, but food tastes so good!!
I do take treats nicely though and not grabby.
I walk very nice on Easy walk harness.
I included a picture of me on my bed and one with my friends.

I just learned I may have a potential adopter. I have to wait though until the home visit is done and then she and her resident dog will come and meet me to see if I like the resident dog and owner. If all goes well, I will be on my way to my forever home. I am so excited that I may have a forever home and a playmate.
Please keep paws crossed. I will let you know how things go. My foster mom said settle down. It could take up to a month or happen in a couple of weeks.
Just had to let everyone know the good news.

I thought you would like to see a picture of me playing in the house with my friend.
My foster mom says I have a built in alarm clock. Here is what a day is like with me. Up at 8 AM and will do my howl and jump in bed to get you up if you are still in bed. May roll around and want a few rubs too.
I get fed and outside to do my business and for some playtime. Later back in the house for a snack, a little more play sometimes and then its nap time.
By 2:30PM I start to get hungry, but have to wait until 3-3:30PM to be fed. Outside again or take a walk and some more play then settle down and relax. By 8 PM I am hungry again and get a half cup food and then outside before bedtime around 10-10:30PM. At bedtime, I sleep on crib mattress by the bed.
Of course, if I am good during the day there are lots of treats. I am also learning sit and stay as I can't wait for food to hit the dish at meal time.
All for now. Get in touch with placement if you would like to be my forever home. Just remember I need a tall fence as I am an escape artist.

Hi All I'm back with an update. My foster mom has updated a few things on me since she started fostering. My energy level has increased from low to medium. Will need a little more play time and walking to get out my pent up energy. If this is not done, I can have an energy spurt in the house in which I run from room to room, jump on couch and off again and bump into things. It has helped that I have a playmate in the new foster from Turkey who just arrived a few days ago. He can keep up with me and sometimes surpass me when running. What fun!!. I included a couple pictures of him and me playing.
Another thing I had to update is I am 62 pounds and not 45. this was an error and hopefully corrected. I would be a bag of bones if only 45 pounds.
I found out I walk better with an easy walk harness and have been on walks with all the dogs in the foster home and did very well staying with them. I still have urges to stop and smell some things and have to be corrected to keep walking, so everyone doesn't get tangled up.
I still need a high fence, preferably five foot as I am an escape artist. I will walk the fence every day hoping to find a spot to jump over. Unfortunately, my foster fence is too high and I have to stay in the yard. I don't know why I want on other side or if it is a habit I learned to see other dogs across the road and play with them.
I am getting better riding in car and only had one accident with a upset tummy. It was hot and long time and just couldn't hold it.
I am also enclosing a picture of me relaxing and showing my shaved belly from my spay. It is almost all healed, but hair takes a while to grow back.
If interested in being my forever home, please contact placement with my name and number.
See you later, time for my nap.

Hi,
My name is Allie. I am a mellow short haired light Golden one year old and looking for love and attention. I have been examined by a vet, given shots and a spay since arriving in my foster home in Olivia. I previously lived up North and was surrendered to RAGOM because the family wanted to keep me safe and find me a loving forever home. All these things RAGOM people are good at doing.
You see I am an escape artist and can climb fence or jump it with my long strong body and legs, and get myself in dangerous situations. I was previously around children, cats and dogs. I do jump up when excited, so older children preferred. I can fetch a ball or Frisbee when I feel like it and I know sit and shake.
In my previous home I would sometimes eat socks but my foster is teaching me to eat better things like that cold white stuff called ice cream, vegetables, dog bones in a ball, peanut butter on a Nylabone or in a Kong. My foster mom says I eat good and take treats nicely and she likes it when I make those little howling noises to talk with her.
I am house trained and will whine, bark or howl when I need to go outside depending on urgency. I don't counter surf or get in the garbage. I sleep on the floor, couch and sometimes bed. I haven't shown any aggression with food or toys.
I have slight storm anxiety but settle right down when my foster mom sits with me and gives massage, pets and talks to me.
I get car sick occasionally so it is better if I am not fed before riding, especially on long trips.
I attached pictures of me at the vet, in my new yard and house in Olivia so you can see how wonderful and beautiful I am.
I am willing to work with my new family and learn to be a wonderful dog and will keep you posted on my progress at my foster home, so keep watching.
