Hey there! Thanks for clicking my bio link. My name is Millie, a.k.a. Mills, Miller, Millie Vanilli. I am a 7-year-old Golden Retriever and as you can tell from my photos, I am gorgeous. My previous owner loved me very much but wanted me to go to a family that can spend more time with me. So now I am a RAGOM girl!

I probably don't need to tell you this, but the last seven days have been pretty crazy for me. I got picked up by a very nice man and took a ride in his car to some stranger's house, and he left me there! I was pretty stressed the first couple days, since I wasn't quite sure what was going on. But the family seemed cool, and by the third day I was feeling pretty comfortable.

The family that I am currently staying with has five kids ages 15, 12, and 7. These kids are pretty dog savvy. They gave me my space and let me get to know them, which really helped me get comfortable. I love attention. So, I love when the kids pet me and scratch my back end. There is also a cat here. He is chill. So, he doesn't run and I just ignore him.

I am a really good girl and I get free roam. I haven't had any accidents in the house and I bark at the door when I need to go out. I should probably confess that I also bark when I want attention and when I think it is time to eat. I go out on a tie out and have been doing just fine with that.

I love going for walks. I pull on the leash a little bit, but with more practice, I know I will be better. I need to have a walk every day. Walks help me get my business done, if you know what I mean. Also, I guess I am overweight. So, daily walks along with low-cal food will help me get my girlish figure back. Other than needing to lose weight, the vet gave me a clean bill of health.

My foster family currently does not have dogs, so they are not sure how I would react to living with another dog. I lived with two other dogs at my previous house, but I did experience a dog attack and now I am unsure about other dogs. I have growled at dogs I have come into contact with in the past. This week I met other dogs on my daily walk without any issues. My owner will need to help me gain confidence so I can trust other dogs again and know that they won't attack me.

I am really a great girl and I am looking for an awesome family to spend the rest of my days with. Do I sound like a match for you? Are you able to commit to me that your home would be my fur-ever home and give me time to settle in?

Thank you for visiting my page, and if you think I might be a match for you, maybe I'll see you soon!

XOXO

Millie
