Someone took a chance on me! I have a new family that wanted me just as I am—an older guy but with a Golden heart. I am so happy with my new people and new dog friends, not to mention a lake to play in and unlimited tennis balls.
I am so grateful to RAGOM and my foster family for giving me a chance to get better and learn to love life again.
Peace to you all—this is Lord Maximilian of Golden Ponds, off on my new adventure!

Who wouldn’t love this face??
My foster mom says I am such a special boy. I love to be outside and play - running along the fence with the neighbor dogs is such a fun time.
Going for a walk to the park and running in the grass has made me stronger and more social. I like to see friends outside and to meet new people.
I may be an “older” dog but I have a lot of kisses and fun times left to live. I hope someone decides to take a chance on me - I am a good family dog waiting for my furever family.

Sir Max is enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. He and his foster buddies are having fun smelling the flowers and hanging out in the backyard.
Max continued to show no interest in removing his belly band. His urine dribbling status has not changed but he is tolerate of the process to deal with it in the home.
Max is a charming boy that greets visitors with a wag and smile. He is not a needy boy, just wants a family that will be willing to take him for a walk, give him some carrot treats and show him where to sleep at night.
For an older dog this guy has a lot of energy and life that he wants to live. If you feel this charming furry friend would be a good addition to your family, please contact RAGOM.

Max is truly a dog that just wants to be part of a family. He follows his FM around the house and is quick with a kiss or a tail wag when you say his name.
Some families might be put off by how old he is or that he has a bladder issue that requires him to wear a belly band.
Max is a loyal companion. He is sweet and caring and wants to please. He loves cheese and walking outside. He wants love and attention just like any other dog.
Someone out there has a place in their heart for a sweet boy like Max. He deserves the best in his Golden years - are you ready to offer that to him??

Lord Max here reporting in on another cold week - I am wondering when we will finally get some warmer weather, I am really looking forward to sniffing around the grass and woods. My foster family lives on a ravine and when the snow melts I have been promised we will go into the woods and explore things.
I really enjoy hanging with my dog pack here. The other Golden and I like to sleep next to one another. He is from Turkey but has learned the rules of this family well. He says that we will be going on walks soon which I am looking forward to a lot.
The vet says that my hind end is weak but I am feeling a bit stronger from doing stairs and being more active in my foster home. I still have some bladder leakage that happens but an older dog like me has to expect a few small things. I think I look handsome with my belly bands, and my foster mom says I am a great dog for wearing them all the time. I think they make me look dashing.
I hope that my new family finds me soon - I know that there is someone out there that wants a companion to snuggle with. I am friendly and charming (at least I think I am) and can hardly wait to meet more new people.
If you have any questions about my bladder issues, you can always ask my foster mom, she is happy to answer any question you may have. Just ask to talk to Lord Maximilian of Golden Ponds - 18-040.
Have a great day!

Hello RAGOM friends. I am happy to say I am having a nice time with my foster family. I really enjoy my new dog friends and even the cats. My foster mom respects my title - Lord Maximilian of Golden Farms - and bought me some formal wear to match my Lordship. I still have some urine leakage but these new formal “briefs” work just great.
I am looking forward to being outside in the warmer weather and doing some short walks. As soon as it warms up I hear I am also getting a bath, not sure I need one but it sounds okay.
I hope that I hear from a potential family soon - it will be great to settle into a real family for the rest of my life.

Greetings to you all! I am Lord Maximilian of Golden Farms, but you may call me Max. I am grateful for this wonderful family that has taken me in after my kind owner of many years could no longer care for me.
I quite enjoy going outside with the two dogs that I am staying with, and find the cats in the home to be quite kind. I am not interested in interacting with the cats much, I find that they prefer other cats than my dog pals and me.
As an older gentleman, I have some ailments that have kept me feeling pretty low for some time. I seem to get ear infections easily, however my foster mom has taken great care of my ears and they are feeling wonderful now.
As part of being a bit older, I am having a bit of trouble with urine leakage. My foster mom has been using a belly band and I am happy to wear it throughout the day and night.
I am a bit slow walking up the stairs, but as I am feeling better it is getting easier to move around and hang out with my foster buddies.
I also have a few lumps and bumps as expected in an older dog, but the vet says they are nothing to worry about, and that I am healthy for my age. I just had my teeth cleaned and they feel and look great - I have a wonderful smile if I must say so.
I am looking for a family that wants a calm, gentle spirit and enjoys hugs and snuggles. I prefer to be with people and am happy to lie down wherever my people or dog friends are hanging out. I enjoy a bone to chew on occasionally, and love to lie in a patch of sunshine.
If you are looking for a kind, calm, diplomatic partner then I am your Golden. I look forward to a visit from new friends.
