Jess (15 months old) was adopted by the most perfect family. She joins RAGOM dog Jerzee 15-004 as a sister and playmate. She looks forward to many walks, zooming around a large fenced yard and trips to the lake to enjoy water sports.

What a great life she will have now, considering just a few weeks back she was roaming the streets in Turkey, scared and dirty, fending for herself, and only just a puppy.

She’s quite a survivor and very self-confident. She exhibits no fear of anything because she had to take care of herself. What a girl. Her foster family misses her but is so thankful for her future happiness and security with her new furever family.

Jess came to RAGOM with a weepy right eye. Part of her lower right eyelid had been cut or torn off and the eyelashes are missing in that area. Our vet prescribed eye drops to avoid infection. She takes her eye drops without any drama. Other than that, she’s a perfect puppy.

She doesn’t exhibit storm anxiety or fear of thunder, and we’ve experienced several storms recently.

Jess is getting the hang of living in America with a family now, as opposed to being on the streets of Turkey. She’s thriving and is a happy girl. Our three senior resident dogs set the pace for her behavior around them and are teaching her respect for your elders. But they like her, as she provides 24/7 live entertainment.

She listens well to her foster mom and is getting better at leash walking. A little game of Frisbee before her walks helps. She’s looking forward to finding her furever family.

Jess is a young girl, a little over a year old. She was found in a small town near Ankara, Turkey, covered in mud and terribly frightened. She was taken in and kept at a volunteer’s home while they searched to see if a family was looking for her. No one claimed her.

Now Jess has been in America a little over a week and she says she loves it here!

Jess is a cream-colored female Golden Retriever, about 15 months old and very busy! She’s happy and playful and a sweetheart (appropriate, because her birthday is Valentine’s Day 2017). She loves people and other dogs and would be perfect for older children. Jess loves to play Frisbee endlessly.

She sleeps in her kennel in foster mom's bedroom and is partially housebroken. Jess is learning to walk on a leash. She knows sit, stay, and down in English (and probably knows much more in Turkish!). She likes car rides and seeing what’s happening. Jess is a very smart girl and I think she’d love agility training and would be good in competition. What a great companion!

Jess enjoys the sunshine and attention upon arrival in Minnesota.
