Blue is a handsome, petite, cream-colored Golden with a true Golden personality. He loves attention and has a kind and gentle disposition. This sweetheart has had very little training and was not crate trained, so currently we are working on potty training and general manners. He has no resource guarding tendencies, no aggressive behavior, walks pretty well on a leash, and can sit, and comes when called. He loves to play with his toys, retrieves well, and is a total snuggle bug.

Blue knew something special was happening yesterday, as he was excited and extra exuberant. His adopters came to pick him up, to take him home!

He made it through his neutering last Wednesday just fine and bounced back quickly but will need to be on restricted activity for a week, which will be a challenge for this sweet pup.

His new home is a dog’s dream: four loving adults, big fenced in yard, near water, with neighbor dogs! Winner! He will be so happy and bring joy to his new family!

Blue is doing great on his potty training, no accidents for past few days! Yay! He’s a sweet boy and loves to snuggle, just an adorable little guy!  Blue is scheduled for neutering on August 19, and should be ready to go to his forever home once he’s recovered.

Blue had his wellness check last week, and he is all up to date, he’s a healthy 45-pound fella. We also went to the groomer, Bark Ave, and is now softer and cuter than ever! 

Potty training is progressing, still an occasional accident but he has definitely made great progress.

Blue loves to play and has found that magazines and paper are fun to chew(!). We’ll be working on that. We are looking at a September date to get Blue in for neutering.  

Blue is a happy gentle pup. Friends come over to snuggle with him; he’s so sweet and cute! I think Blue is loving his new life and will make a wonderful family member.

Little boy Blue is just a love! He is getting more comfortable every day, revealing his super sweet and gentle personality.

Today we have our first visit to the groomer; it will be fun to see him all spiffed up. His coat is so soft that one can’t help petting him and snuggling him!  

We have been working on potty training, and he has come a long way in a short period, just a little more time and he’ll be a pro. Blue plays well on his own but loves to pay catch with the tennis ball in the yard and is quite agile.

He likes his dog bed and keeps his toys in it, napping there during the day, and at night he sleeps on the floor in or near the bedroom or occasionally up on the bed. He walks well on the leash and greets new people with a big tail wag, a sniff, and is very polite.

He has the “sit,” “off,” ”leave it” and “come” commands down and is just perfecting “lay down.” He’s a quick learner. This sweet little guy is eager to please and loves to be close to his people, really a doll!
