I am happy to say that LuLu and Lily have found their forever home. They are now a part of the H family and will enjoy so much together. This family also has three older sons who the girls can bond with and I have no doubt they will be so happy there.
Long walks, a fenced back yard, and a family who will commit to some training for Lily. This was their Christmas wish come true. Wishing the entire family a blessed Christmas and many holiday memories to come!

Lily continues to do well. She is full of energy when I get home and loves to be outside.
She is new to a leash, but has been doing well on one. She still needs some work as she can have puppy energy, but consistency will get her there.
She and Lulu do miss having a fenced backyard as it was what they knew. It would be very nice if they could have this again.
Lily loves to be outside and I bring her out often with Lulu. She has energy she needs to burn off on days I work (she is crated), and this has helped her.
I do think Lily would benefit from basic obedience training with positive reinforcement. She does sit and lay down, but would benefit from being challenged as she is very smart and could really do well with more training. She does like to be the boss for attention, which is one way I think she could learn to be more patient.
Overall, Lily is a sweet fur ball that loves her sister Lulu, the outdoors, laying by family, and having her belly scratched. Here’s to finding these girls a home that will love them, challenge them, accept them, and allow them to show you the love they have to give.

Lily is settled in and enjoying her Golden Life. She loves attention, ice cubes, and curling up by Lulu and my Rudy. I think she is smitten with my Rudy and the feelings seem to be mutual.
Lily has soft fur and droopy eyes that melt your heart. They both are Velcro dogs just like many Goldens. They enjoy relaxing by the us, enjoying a dog treat here and there, and hunkering in for a nice fire in the wood stove.
Lily is looking for a home where she and Lulu 18-222 can go on adventures together with you or just settle in after a nice walk. They love people, and everyone that meets them sure do love them back.

Lily is an almost-6-year-old Golden Retriever that is so sweet and loving. She is paired with Lulu 18-222.
Lily is so sweet and has been so easy to relax with. She loves attention, snuggling, and playing with her sister. She does great on a leash and is very easy to walk. She loves sniffing the world around her when we are outside, but also loves to be curled up by the wood stove.
Lily is more the adventurous one and craves attention, but is very good at listening when redirected. It was noted she can counter-surf, but I have not had any issue with her related to that.
She did have an accident the second day here, but she has been very good overall. One event that could have been avoided was my failing to secure the bottom latch on their crate, and I found out the hard way how much they need to be crated securely when left alone.
I was gone at work, so I have no idea how long they were out, but they did get into my slippers and some colored pencils, and they moved the wood upstairs that is used for the fire. They just need to be secured when alone to keep them safe.
She also is noted to get along with cats as she had one in her last home. She is great with my Golden and will tell him her boundaries when he needs a reminder. They all lay next to one another and take treats very well.
She is looking for a loving home that will give her all the attention and love she and Lulu deserve. More updates to come.
