Miss Daisy has been adopted! Her new name is Edith. She joins a wonderful family who love dogs, and they are so excited to have her as their new family member. Please join me in wishing Edith and her family the very, very best!

Please join me in welcoming RAGOM’s newest love: Daisy! She is a 7-week-old Golden Retriever mix: mom is Golden Retriever/Black Lab (and looks like a black Golden Retriever), and dad is Lab/Newfoundland.  Her and her two siblings came to RAGOM from a surrendering owner whose dog had a surprise litter of pups. She is about as sweet as they come!

She has a vet appointment next week to get her initial vaccinations, and another appointment to get spayed. Once she bounces back from that she’ll be ready for her new family.

Daisy is more on the passive side and super affectionate. She loves tummy rubs and being close. If I am sitting on the floor she’ll come over and lay right next to me and chew on a bone. She is really laid back, and her play style is quiet and gentle. She likes to have fun too, and that’s when she shows a budding sense of humor (i.e., when she is taunting one of the other pups to play chase).

Even though Daisy is a quieter pup, she is very relational and seeks out the other mellow pup to play with. It would be awesome to get her into a home with another interactive dog, or where there are regular opportunities to hang with other dogs (doggy day care or good dog friends).

She is an incredible pup, and under care of someone who will work with her and get her out and about, she’ll make a wonderful companion.
