Bailey 19-069

Profile

Bailey's owners surrendered her to RAGOM due to long work hours and Bailey's medical needs. Bailey is a sweet, snuggly golden girl with soft, silky fur. She has hypothyroidism that is controlled with medication. A mass on her right hip is being treated and evaluated. Bailey can live with children and other dogs. A fence is optional. Bailey is well-behaved in the home, although she's tempted by goodies left on the counter. Bailey is looking for a home where she can be pampered and receive needed medical care.

Updates

Thursday, April 11, 2019

Bailey came to us as a foster April 5, 2019, and has made herself right at home. The first two days she had accidents but now will go to the door to go outside. I'm sure she was confused about why she was here but has adjusted very well.

We have a Golden Retriever and a Goldendoodle and they get along great. I also groom dogs in our home and she loves to greet people and their dogs. She seems to be very fond of the little dogs.

Bailey grew up with a smaller dog and two children. Bailey will be 11 in June and lived with the children since they were babies.

She loves to go for walks and chew on dog bones and has never chewed on anything she wasn't supposed to. Bailey will counter surf, so all food needs to be put away. She is a good eater but never gets aggressive with her food.

Bailey does have hypothyroidism but it is controlled with medication. She has a mass on her right hip that ruptured and has been on antibiotics since March 16. She will be rechecked in two weeks to see if she needs surgery. She also has a small cyst on her right eyelid.

Baily is a sweetheart and a great snuggler. She has found my bed as her favorite place to sleep at night. Her fur is as soft as silk and she loves to be pet and pampered.

Bailey is unavailable until she sees the vet April 24, when we find out if she needs surgery.

Unavailable: Bailey is not yet ready to be adopted, and we are not currently accepting applications for Bailey. Please watch for her status to change to Adopt Me before you submit an Inquiry for Application or, if you've already submitted an Inquiry for Application, before you email our application team.
