Welcome Annie of Alabama into RAGOMland! She arrived on Saturday night along with Tyson and Penny. Annie is a petite Golden mix with super soft fur, a cute black nose, and dark eyeliner. She weighs about 50 pounds and is constantly looking for any spare food. She acts closer to 1 than 2, with lots of energy. She was vetted and spayed before coming into RAGOM. She has a growth under her chin due to a clogged saliva duct, which will be evaluated in the next week to see if surgery is needed.
She likes to take brief naps and will relax when in a room by herself. I still haven’t figured out if she is nervous around the other dogs or wants to be the dominant one. A couple of times, she has lunged after the boys (resident Tyson and Tyson 14-248) when they get to close to her or walk over her. She likes to snuggle and have her belly scratched. She takes treats well. She goes into her kennel, barks a bit, and then settles in during the night until morning. She knows "sit" and we are working on her to not jump on people or the counters. She is going to be at the Edina meet-and-greet on Saturday, so come check out if you have felt fur any softer than hers.
