My name is Chase and I’m 10 years old. My fosters have been saying how smart and good I’ve been. I go for daily walks and am extremely active for my age. I enjoy my walks and I’m real gentle with the leash. I never pull on the walks and I’m real comfortable walking around other dogs and people. I love to play with Skoey, the resident Golden Retriever. He’s got lots of games such as squeak and tennis balls and there’s nothing I’ve done more than retrieving the ball and dropping it at the thrower’s feet. They’ve learned it takes quite a bit to tire me out.

I’ve had run of the house since I’ve been here and haven’t gotten into anything I shouldn’t. I’ve been alone in the home for a few hours at a time and I’ve adjusted very well. I sleep during the day but I gladly will play anytime. I haven’t done anything wrong since I’ve been here and I’m not sure why they find that a big deal. I’m a real good listener and I hope they learn that I can do even more than they know.

Besides meeting various dogs on our daily walks, I’ve met the German Shepard/Rottie mix next door who is named Jack and we say hello every day. He is totally cool and a rescue dog. I’m not dominant….I tend to be submissive. I go with the flow and I’m low maintenance.

The fosters got Skoey and me groomed a few days ago and I handled that well. The blower bothered me but it was well worth it. My nails were really long and I’m happy my fosters cut them for me. Next on the list is going to the vet next week. I’ll tell you how that goes….
