I'm so glad you decided to read about Stella! She is a 3-year-and-9-month-old, 70-pound, long-legged, cream-colored Goldendoodle who was surrendered to RAGOM not because she was unwanted, but because her family loved her and wanted what was best for her. After fostering her for nearly two weeks, I can see how difficult that decision was, but doing what is best for our pets is what rescue is all about.

Stella has seizures, and she would only do best with a family that can be home with her a large part of the time. Her surrendering family was gone during the day, and Stella was left at home with her fur brother with full run of the house, so she got herself into a few bad situations. She is not accustomed to being crated, so that will not work for Stella, and I must say it is completely unnecessary!

Here are some facts about this sweet girl:

• Stella does not jump fences or dig.
• She does not show any aggression towards people, children, or other dogs; she is more submissive.
• Loves puppies! Played ever so gently with 2 puppies, a 9-week old Maltese and 9-week old Cockapoo!
• She walks beautifully on a flat leash; no Gentle Leader necessary.
• She sleeps all night on a dog bed in my bedroom, and stays off furniture and beds.
• No door busting, counter surfing, or garbage diving.
• Takes treats ever so gently and patiently waits for breakfast and dinner.
• Not destructive, not even destuffing!

She is a perfect lady, with a disposition to match. She has a medicine schedule very easily managed, so if you are interested in Stella, I would be happy to talk with you about this wonderful girl. She is an elegant Doodle and is a typical happy girl 95% of the time. She just needs someone to care for and love her a little bit more during that mildly challenging 5%.
