Turner 12-154 [1]

Turner has a booboo! As you can see in Turner's pic, he came with an icky dog bite on the head (that was a surprise!). No worry, he will be as good as new in a few weeks. We met Turner Sunday and were his 5th transport of the day. No wonder he felt stressed but once he checked out (home) he slept by our bed all night long without a peep. What a trooper!

Turner is a 10 year old PB GR. He weighs 74lbs, has a red coat and freckly silver/cute, cute face. If Turner didn't have that white mask, there is no way I would guess he is 10. He is spry, jumps up and down on all 4 legs when excited, like when I pull out the leash, is quite the talker (we don't speak the same language yet) and doesn't have even a hint of arthritis.

I do not know Turner's story. The owner said she could no longer afford him and she wanted him to have more exercise. Because of the injury, Turner is on antibiotics for a few days and taking Prednisone for some allergies. He has shown absolutely no aggression to our Jackson or dogs he has met. He and Jack are playmates and little shadows of each other.

Turner was not neutered, but that has "been fixed". He comes when called, has had no accidents, chews on nothing inappropriate and at age 10 seems to not know any basic commands, not even sit. He does seem to know stay and no. Baby steps, as of now we are working on sit and wait. The owner said he stayed in the yard with no fence or tie-out. We haven't tested that yet!

Turner LOVES the car and makes a great shotgun, as Jack tends to hog the whole back seat. He is ready to go anywhere, anytime.

This is one sweet, very affectionate guy who deserves a loving, caring home. We will keep you posted as we get to know him better and include some nicer pictures.
