Adelaide 16-206

Profile

Adelaide is a three year old beauty who came to RAGOM, along with her three, six week old puppies, from a commercial breeding facility in Missouri. She was extremely ill due to a severe respiratory infection that went untreated for years. Her heart became enlarged and she had high blood pressure as a result. In spite of her illness she took excellent care of her puppies and they were in great health. Luckily she was socialized by the workers in the facility so she doesn’t have the usual emotional issues of a ‘mill dog’.

Adelaide has been adopted by a repeat RAGOM adoptive family and has a wonderful older brother to look up to! She also has some new cat friends that she completely ignores. Adelaide’s health issues have been resolved, although it’s likely she has some permanent lung tissue scarring from the chronic infection. Her new name is Jayvyn which means “light spirit” in an African language. Welcome to the Golden life Jayvyn!
