Hi Everyone! My name is Annie and I am new to the RAGOM Family as of April 6th. I came in with my sister Scout 14-092 and brother Vinnie 14-094 and 5 other adult dogs. It was a long travel day, but once we arrived, we were sure ready to stretch out legs! Here I am with Scout.

Us 3 youngsters were born on January 18th, so that makes us just over 12 weeks old now. My first 10 days here have been filled with a lot of activity to say the least.

First stop was the vet to give me the good ol' once-over. Doc says I am a cutie pa-tootie! That must be some fancy medical term I am not familiar with, but she was smiling when she said it, so it's gotta be good! My heart is good and strong, lungs are clear and I have a twinkle in my eye. My only issue is I have giardia, so doc gave FM a course of Panacur for me to clear that up. I will need to be rechecked a couple of weeks after I finish that. I am a petite little thing and only weighed in at 13.5 pounds, so FM is trying to put a little meat on my bones. I am a little bit of a picky eater right now, so FM is trying everything. I must say she struck gold with the Natural Balance Food roll. Mmmmm, I'll do ANYTHING for that!

In my foster home, there is this sweet mamma named Nicole 13-351 who likes to mother me, and that is just fine with me! Here she is sticking close to me last Friday night after my spay surgery. My tummy was hurting so I just wanted to sleep. She would keep checking up on me. Once a mamma, always a mamma!

I love playing with toys and am even a good fetcher already! I run and get the toy and run as fast as I can back to a dog bed and pounce. FM says I am even good at amusing myself with my toys on my bed.

During the week while FM is at work, Nicole and I hang out at daycare with our friends Baylee and Joy and a bunch of 2-legged babies and kids. Let me tell you, it is work! Here I am doing the slide and the climbing wall at the park. Ok, I was taking a breather on the climbing wall, but I did finish -- going down that is. What is this, training for the Marines?!

Well, gotta hit the rack now and get some beauty sleep. The trumpeters for Reveille blow their horns really early around here!

Love,

Annie

FM here,

Annie is an absolute sweetheart. She likes to be cuddled, but also is very active little girl. She quickly learned her name and readily comes when called and loves to follow the other dogs around. She particularly likes to play with mamma Nicole. If she tries to steal a toy from one of the residents that is not ready to give something up, they will give her a correction growl and she appropriately responds to the corrections and does not challenge that. She does not have any resource guarding issues with food or toys.

We are working on potty training and that will be a work in progress for a while, but she sleeps 7-8 hours at night and keeps her crate clean.

She is an incredibly social girl and loves her people, so much so she does put up a bit of a fuss when initially crated or baby-gated in the kitchen away from people. We are working on her settling herself down and learning to play with her toys and be ok with having her humans within sight but not within reach.

Soft and sweet, this little girl will quickly grow to a big dog with lots of energy to burn off. She will need a family that has a lot of time to devote to her especially in the first year to help her become a well-mannered member of the family and society. Puppies are a lot of work -- but so worth the time and energy put into them!

Drum roll, please.....I have the most wonderful news to share! I am officially adopted as of today! I have a new mom and dad and fur brother named George. He is only 18 months old and FULL of energy, so we are going to keep mom and dad incredibly busy. I'm thinking partners in crime....Ha!

A Big Thank You to RAGOM for bringing me, Scout, and Vinnie into the RAGOM Family. I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved living in a house, snuggling on the couches and the big bed, playing with my foster sisters, Kraelyn and Lilly, Nicole and her kids, and going to daycare for 14 days hanging with daycare mom Jean, Nicole, Baylee and Joy.

Even though I am starting my new life, I promise to send pictures to FM to tell her how I am doing and will come to Goldzilla in September to show everyone how big I will be!

Here are a couple of pics of me and my mom and dad, Amy and Tim, and one of me and new brother George out for our first walk.

See you around the block!

Love,

The ever sweet Annie

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note on how I am doing. Can I just say G-R-E-A-T! I am having a lot of fun here in my foster home as well as my daily trips to daycare with Nicole 13-351. We go hang out with our friends Baylee, Joy, and Jean. Life is good!

Last Saturday, some of Nicole's kids came over for a playdate: Chester, Sadie (JJ), and Bixby. They are 6 months old now. It was a blast! And Chester even got to sleep over on Friday night! It quickly became apparent to FM that I have quite the little spark in me when there is another puppy in the house! Bye-bye, sweet little mellow puppy! Well, ok, just when we are playing, otherwise I am still sweet and cuddly! I was playing with everyone I could see, including Baylee and my foster-sisters too.

Here are some pictures of our fun time.

Here I am making my way through the tunnel. Can I just say that thing is a blast! I think I would like to do some agility, even if it is only for fun!

I was teaching Bixby how to go through the tunnel. We did it multiple times and decided to take a quick break inside.

Nicole's kids Sadie, Chester, and Bixby. They got big FAST! I bet in no time, I will be big too.

Sweet Nicole and former foster sister Whitney 13-317 relaxing and just watching the youngsters play. FM says Whitney is getting braver every time she comes back to play! Someday I hope she just "gets it" and feels safe enough to just play, play, play!

This is Chester and me wrestling. Yeah, I can hold my own, even if I have to bite him from underneath!

Nicole and I getting our share of treats! I LOVE that Natural Balance Food Roll! FM calls it puppy crack!

And finally, after 3 hours of running with the big dogs and having Chester sleep over, I was passed out. Sure had some sweet dreams there -- until Chester got me back up to play an hour later! Sunday was a L-O-W energy day...

Have a great week!

Sweet, sweet Annie
