Talk about a Black Beauty! Bear is from a Missouri shelter that RAGOM has worked with to rescue many other dogs. Bear is such a wonderful, mellow dog. He was taken from being in a shelter for who-knows-how-long, transported to Minnesota and boarded, then spent a day being transferred from one RAGOM volunteer to another to another, before ending up at my place. He took it all in stride and is still a happy, appreciative, wagging tail of a dog. The shelter indicated Bear is a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix.
