Entered Foster Care Fence Kid Friendly Another Dog Cat Friendly
12/15/2014  optional  over 7  not required no
This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

This is Beata pronounced "Bee - eta". It is a biblical name that means happy or blessed. She is a spayed golden mix that weights about 50 lbs.

She is a happy girl that loves to be around people. She enjoys playing with squeaky toys and chasing after a ball. She is a sweet girl with a puppy face. She is 5 years old. She is a soft kisser and takes treats gently. She does like to chase squirrels and rabbits. She knows some basic commands and walks well on the leash. She has run of our house while we are gone, and has been left alone for up to 9 hours while we are at work w/o issue. We have given her a bath, trimmed her nails and cleaned her ears and she enjoys all of that attention.

Her perfect home is one without cats, with children over the age 7 and one where she is the only dog. She loves to sit on laps and lay next to people on the bed. We think that she should be an only dog. We do have our own dog, and Beata does get jealous when we give loves to her. She will bark at people and other dogs when she looks out the window; but loves to meet new people. She rides well in the car. She is a very nice dog and will make a good addition to any home.

Beata is up to date on all of her shots, micro chipped, and spayed. She is ready for the new year and a new home full of love!

Hi everyone, Beata here!! Thought I would let you know how life for me has been in foster care. In a word, Wonderful!!!! As you can see from my picture, my most favorite thing to do is sit in someone's lap and get loves and pets! I also enjoy playing with squeaky toys too!!

I love going on walks and playing ball in the yard, mostly I would like to be the only dog, but do tolerate other dogs, as long as they know I am the Princess. Foster mom and dad say I can be to bossy tho.

I love to snuggle on the couch and in bed for the night too!! Sometimes I get kicked out of bed, so then I lay on a dog bed. I would say I listen pretty good, but sometimes foster mom and dad use a grouchy voice with me, I try to tell them that I am a Princess, and it is just hard to be good all the time!

Hi All,

Beata has been doing very well with us. She has met a number of new dogs most of the meetings have gone well. She does settle down after getting to know them and with some minor correction. She likes to hog all of the attention. We have been throwing the ball and she really enjoys that. Beata is starting to learn to play with other dogs. It is a slow process. She would do best as an only dog, but will get along fine with other dogs as long as rules are set and enforced. She loves to be a lap dog! Here are a few new pics of our sweet girl.
