Sweet Bella has found her new forever home. She will have a 9-year-old Black Lab to play with and 3 boys to spoil her. Her new mom works from home, so Bella will have constant love and attention during the day. Her new family plans to pamper her, take her to their lake cabin, and make her a permanent member of their family. She's such a sweet girl and deserves the best!

Bella and I attended Goldzilla last weekend and met a few of her fans - she loved all of the attention! A HUGE Thank You to Kirk and Beth L, Deborah M, and Cindy and Jim C for donating paw prints to her! She continues to be a wonderful dog. I've decided that her ideal family should have someone home most of the time, as I think she gets lonely while I'm at work during the day.  She's a total Velcro dog once I'm home and always needs to be touching me. Although not required, I also think another dog would be ideal. Bella loves to play with my resident Golden. She's quite a bit bigger than him, but they wrestle constantly.

Here's a video of them (Bella is wearing the purple collar).

Bella is a beautiful 8-year-old Golden Retriever. She was lovingly surrendered to RAGOM because of her owner's health issues. Bella was obviously adored and well cared for. She is a total sweetheart and very much a Velcro dog. She gets really excited when I get home and practically prances. She's fairly vocal with her excitement as well.

I initially left Bella in a crate while I was out of the house, but recently tried giving her free reign. She crates well, but behaved just fine when she was loose in the house (despite dragging a pair of my workout pants and some socks into the living room...). I've left her up to 9 hours while I'm at work, and she doesn't have any accidents.

Bella gets along with both of my resident animals. I have a 2-year-old Golden who is really playful. Initially, Bella ignored him, but now they play tug together. She loves to play fetch, but isn't always the best about letting me have the ball back! She doesn't bother my cat at all. In fact, the first night that Bella was here, the cat was sitting on the floor, about 3 feet away from Bella.

Bella is in good health. The vet said she needs to lose about 5 pounds, so regular exercise is needed. Her surrendering owner reported that she does get occasional ear infections, but that they are easily treated. She does pull a bit hard on her leash, but we're working on it.

Bella is such a wonderful, sweet, energetic girl who needs a new family to love her. She will give you plenty of love and affection in return.
