We are sad to share we said goodbye to Berkley on November 19. He had come such a long way since we adopted him! He started out being very protective and growling at everyone at the door, to some barking and wagging his tail once he knew the person at the door was okay. We love and miss Berkley very much and are still adapting to life without him. We are thankful for the nine years we had with Berkley and will never forget him.

Berkley is just wonderful. He made it through Petco with flying colors. He started out frightened and on my lap but after a short time he started greeting people and enjoying the hugs and pets from people. He was very tired and slept most the way home. Berkley now starts the wrestling and games with Aster. The first couple of weeks Aster started all the games. It is fun to watch the two of them run and play. The exercise has helped Berkley slim down. He now has a waist line and is looking fit and trim. Berkley is gaining in leaps and bounds trusting people. He no longer holds back on walks and pushes right up with Aster to make new friends. I caught some new pictures of Berkley showing off with his new outlook on life (IE no longer afraid of camera and flash).
