I have found my forever home! I will be moving in with a retired couple. I'm excited I'll have someone to hang out with all day. They have a fenced-in yard and live across from a huge dog park! My Moose stuffy and my favorite squeaky tennis ball will be coming along, too. Big thanks to RAGOM for bringing me into the Golden life. I can't wait to get to know my new family :)

FM taking over the updates! We had a big week with paddle boating, hiking, and the last swim of the year! Big Boy really is the best buddy for all of life's adventures.
We did update his age from 5 years to 7 years as we found older vet paperwork. (And that sweet sugar face suggests he might be a bit older than 5!) His overall health is still great.
He no longer needs wet food and is now loving his Blue Buffalo Chicken and Rice meals. He is even warming up to peanut butter, too.
For a dog that lived mostly outside, I am continually impressed with his manners. He is house trained, no destructive behavior, has full roam of the home, naps during an 8 hr work day, doesn't counter surf or jump on people, comes on command, walks great on a leash, sits in the elevator, sits to have his leash unclipped, loves car rides, great with kids, the list goes on and on.
If you're looking for an easy going buddy, this is your boy!

Neutering went well! I had a small seizure while undergoing the anesthesia, but the doctor said its nothing to be concerned about. I did not like wearing that darn cone tho!
Last week, I got to go on vacation while my FM was out of town. The family I stayed with said I was the most easy going pup they have ever taken care of and whoever adopts me will be one lucky family!
Hoping to find my forever home so I can spend the holidays with my new family. If your interested in adopting me, please contact your placement advisor so we can meet.

What a week! Last Friday, we stopped by the WCCO Mid-Morning Show to promote the Goldzilla fundraiser, which was a ton of fun! At Goldzilla, I was reunited with my mom, Angel, and my sister, Little Girl. It was fun to see them again. We also met lots of families looking to adopt through RAGOM. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the event!
This week we also went out to happy hour. There was a live band playing so I started howling along with the music. The whole bar thought it was pretty cute!
We'll be laying low this weekend as I'm getting neutered. After that we're back on the search for my forever family!

Thanks to everyone who came out to see me at the Meet & Greet this past weekend!
The transition from a country boy to a city boy has been easier than I thought. There is so much to explore in the city, which makes walks very exciting! We go out for a walk in the morning and again after work. Then we go sit down by the river or out on the deck. I just love being outside!
We've discovered I'm a bit of a picky eater. We've tried 4 different types of kibble and I only like it when a little wet food is mixed in. Blue Buffalo Chicken and Brown Rice is the best so far. I'm even picky with treats! Mother Hubbard's Peanut Butter Biscuits are my favorite. Oddly, I don't like real peanut butter though.
We have a big weekend ahead of us! We will be at Goldzilla this Sunday. Come see us in the Foster Showcase Parade from 11:30 - 12:15 pm or at the Foster Showcase from 12:15 - 1:00 pm. Word has it, i will also be making an appearance on Channel 4 this Friday morning. Make sure to stop by or tune in!
