Bo has settled in here at our house and acts like he has lived here all of his life. He gets along great with our resident dog. They have been chasing each other, wrestling and having a good ol' time.
I did take Bo to the vet on Friday as he had some runny stools with a little blood in them. Everyone at the vet's office thought he was the nicest dog. Another client that was in the waiting room just had to come over and pet him and kept telling me how cute he was. He checked out fine at the vet and she said this can happen with the change in food and just having a dog move from place to place. I have been feeding Bo hamburger and rice the last few days and I don't think it is enough because he looks at me like, "Where's the rest?" So last night I started adding a little bit of his regular dry food back into his meal.
Bo does counter surf once in awhile. He has gotten a couple things off the counter even though they were pushed back. It's kind of funny, because it isn't a constant thing, so I don't know if he has just been more hungry since he is only getting the hamburger and rice or what. Most of the time he is very good and I have not seen him jump up at the counter at all.
Bo is one of the nicest and easiest dogs we have ever fostered. He is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, is HW negative, and will be neutered on January 24th. I know he doesn't look much like a Golden Retriever, but he doesn't get overly excited, loves people, behaves very well in the house, is housebroken, doesn't bark much, leaves cats alone, and his tail just wags and wags... what more could you ask for?
