It is with a very broken heart that I report that our RAGOM dog adopted in March 2005 (his name at the time was Rudy—we renamed him Buddy) has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We were very lucky to have gotten the chance to adopt him. He was one of the greatest dogs I know. He had a personality that wouldn’t quit. EVERYONE who met him loved him. He was on one of RAGOM’s calendars, in the Gold Guys commercial and represented RAGOM at the State Fair at the pet expo. Buddy got very sick last weekend, and it turns out he had hemangiosarcoma, a type of cancer that really doesn’t show any signs or symptoms until it ruptures, and for Buddy, this was the case. The once bubbly and excited dog we all knew could hardly lift his head or get up he was so sick. We brought him to the emergency vet, and his prognosis was very grave, so we made the difficult decision to put him to sleep and end his suffering. Cancer took our beloved Buddy from us too soon, and it seems so unfair. He will live in our hearts forever, and we look forward to the day we get to be united with him again. Thank you, RAGOM, for bringing Buddy into our lives. He brought much love and joy that we will never forget. The above picture is him at the beach in White Bear Lake. He loved going to the beach. |
