Carter will be one year old this month. He is a beautiful, large, thin-framed Goldendoodle with a blond coat and the softest fur I have ever seen on a ‘doodle.
Carter's sweet personality is best described as social, happy, and always willing to play if you give him the time. Recess outside finds him looking for any ball or chew item left out that he can prance around with in his mouth.
Inside the house he finds a spot to lay down or wrestle with his best friend Bonnie, and his behavior is certainly not like a dog who has to run and jump on all the furniture.
Carter has the makings of a loving dog who will be happy to join you on the sofa for some quiet time. He is less shy and readily comes to you for affection now.
It is hard to get pictures of Carter as he is afraid of the shiny Cannon camera, and he walks to the far side of the room every time I pick it up. Carter is ready to find a companion playmate who loves to run and play outside and the weather for spring has certainly been great for hours of play.

Carter is really enjoying life. He has found an old ball in the yard and plays endlessly chasing it around. He is also enjoying the art of playing with Bonnie and they run, chest bump, and run some more.
His personality has really bloomed, and although he is a rough-and-tumble guy outside, he is sweet and gentle indoors. He is quite gentle and mellow sometimes, which is a surprise considering his young age. He is going to make a wonderful companion for some family.

Carter comes to RAGOM as a breeder surrender. He is a Crème Goldendoodle with what is described as a slick coat. The curl is on the top of his back to include his tail. The rest of his coat (not double coated) is straight. So this fellow will shed more than one would expect from the doodle variety.
Carter has completed his neuter and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is a typical puppy with lots of energy. Currently he is a fun little boy who is learning about ear scritches and being touched by humans. He is a little timid and hand shy so he needs to learn only good things come from his humans.
He is a little thin but gaining weight slowly. He has a ravenous appetite and gulps his food fast it if it will disappear in a nanosecond.
Carter is learning about crate training and doing amazing well. He is bunk buddy with his friend Casper 18-179A who he arrived with in foster care. Carter has not developed a signal to go outside to potty breaks with his friend Casper, so they are out every 2 - 6 hours to potty.
At almost 7 months Carter is a rambunctious on-the-go puppy. At this age a lot of expended energy needs to be challenged into appropriate behavior. Are you ready for this challenge?
