Cisco 16-090

In addition to LOVE this dog has the following requirements:
Date Posted Fence Kid Friendly Another Dog Cat Friendly
5-1-16 Not required Yes  Optional Untested
This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

Please help me welcome Cisco to the RAGOM family! He is a young pup who was found as a stray up north. He appears to have a broken leg which will be checked out by the vet to this week. We will update with more information when we find out! He will be available for adoption once his medical issues are cleared. (But trust me...you'll want to talk to your placement coordinator about this boy now!)

He seems to be a young pup, around 6 to 9 months old. However, he is super sweet and laid-back. He still has some growing to do though, because his paws are huge! He loves to give kisses and is super gentle. My four-year-old can easily take toys out of his mouth. He really wants to play and learn about toys, but his leg pain is hindering him a bit yet. Even though he appears to be a stray, he has not had an accident in the house and seems to have a good understanding of what the outside is for! He also has some unique fur, as from the side it looks like he almost has tiger stripes!

We've been fostering for 9 years now and I have not come across such a sweet young pup. Cisco is going to make an amazing addition to some very lucky family. He has the young age of a pup, but the laid-back, sweet, gentle nature of an older dog.

Cisco's leg continues to improve each day with longer walks.  He's able to complete the whole walk without holding up his operated leg.  He still wants to hold up his leg when running but it's only been three weeks since his surgery & I think that's pretty great!   Now that Cisco is off of bed rest he's been able to have a couple of day trips.   He continues to be a easy dog to care for.   He lays quietly in his room all day while FM is working but he sure knows when FM is done at the end of the day.  End of work day means walk time!

Hello-Cisco would like give a BIG THANK YOU to all that donated towards his surgery. It has been two weeks today since his surgery & he is doing great. Cisco had his follow up vet visit earlier this week & was brought up to date on his vaccinations. In the 12 days that Cisco has been with us here is what I can tell you about him. He is housetrained, walks well on a flat collar, rides nicely in the car and gets along well with the RD. He hasn't had too many adventure yet due to his recovery but it will be a pleasure taking him on them. He is one of the easiest dogs to take care of and is very handsome too!

Hey everyone! Cisco here! My foster mom just sat me down and had a serious talk with me. But, before I get into details I have a plea for you! RAGOM took me in knowing I had a broken leg, unsure of how it needed to be fixed. Well, I'm going to have surgery and I need your help. Hopefully, my surgery will be in 7 days (May 23rd). My challenge to you is this: Can I get 7 spring donation icons on my page in 7 days? Will you help me have my surgery?!

Anyway, so the details are this: the head of my femur on my back leg is broken off. She said to think of it like this: the ball is broken off that fits into the socket. So when I have my surgery they will take that broken ball out and screw my leg into my hip joint. I will be able to run and play, but I may be a little more stiff with that back leg.

I can't wait to have my surgery so I can run and play like the other dogs. I would love to have another fur-butt brother or sister in my house, because I'm young and love to play! And, I need a family who loves kisses, because BOY OH BOY am I an affectionate guy! I'm young and once my leg heals I'll need some training, but I respond REALLY well to my name and NO. I just want to please my humans!
