I am happy to report that Clyde and his sister Bonnie have found their forever home. They were very fun and well behaved youngsters. I will miss them.

Clyde weighed in at 120.7 pounds yesterday which is about a 3-4 pound weight loss over 2 weeks. He just loves his walks so am taking him as much as possible.
I gave him and Bonnie a new rope toy and they are having a blast tugging. It is so fun to watch the pair with such size difference play so well.
They are just wonderful house guests.
Thanks to Amy B and Lucas and Brianna H. for the paws.

I am happy to report that Clyde has learned to walk with a gentle leader. It is now real pleasant to walk him and Bonnie. They just love going for walks.

Clyde attended Goldzilla and was admired by several people. I did learn that he is very protective of his sister Bonnie and does not like any other dogs getting into his space. He is a bit of a Jeckyl and Hyde in that he is the most loving, gentle, friendly soul when alone with Bonnie and can turn into a snarly protector around other dogs.
Both he and Bonnie just love to go for walks and they are quite the thief's of neighborhood tennis balls.

Clyde is a very handsome 2.5-year-old purebred Golden Retriever. He is a big boy, most recently weighing in at 124 pounds. He has a wonderful personality and would make a good therapy dog. Even though he is huge, he is very gentle and loves to be petted and snuggle.
He has lived his whole life with his sister Bonnie 17-029 and will need to be adopted with her. They are quite bonded with each other and make a terrific couple. Clyde is the laid-back big brother and Bonnie is more energetic.

Clyde will need to work on his weight, so he will need an active family. He loves his walks.
He is totally housebroken and is not destructive.
They both will need some work on proper greeting behavior and better walking on leash.
