Updates

Sunday, March 17, 2019

It has been one week and one day since Cooper came our way. He has made so much progress in that week. Cooper is learning new things and becoming more comfortable in his new found Golden life.

The first couple days he really did not want anything to do with our resident dog. However, by mid-week they were playing and running zoomies together in the yard.

Cooper eats well, but has not been too interested in treats. He is starting to come around though, and even ate part of a biscuit and has been trying other tasty treats.

Cooper went in for a bath and a trim yesterday. He looks so great and has a beautiful, shiny red coat.

Throughout the week Cooper has been less reactive when hearing other dogs bark. However, he will need continued work to feel safe around unfamiliar people and dogs.

We are looking for an adoptive family who is interested in and committed to his continued training. Cooper needs continued help learning how to be his best self. Cooper is a very sweet dog who will make a great addition to your home.

Closed to Applications: Many families have submitted applications for Cooper or he is working with an applicant for a potential adoption. We are no longer accepting applications for Cooper.
