Dixie is a 6.5-year-old female Golden Retriever who came to RAGOM on April 15, 2018. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots and preventives. She weighs approximately 65 pounds and is very healthy.

Dixie lived with 4 children, ages 8 to 12, and was fabulous with them. The surrendering family just wanted Dixie to have a family that could devote more time for her.

Dixie loves car rides and swimming, and is crate trained and good with baby gates. She has no separation anxiety or storm anxieties, but the surrendering owner says she will want to go into the home if there are fireworks. She has no resource guarding with other dogs or humans. She is house trained, comes when called, will sit on command, and walks well with a no-pull harness.

Dixie is a lovely dog with a lovely heart. She finds her happiness with her people or family.
