Profile

Frank is a purebred Golden Retriever puppy surrendered to RAGOM by a breeder, along with four of his brothers. He was born August 15, 2018. He is a puppy so he bites, digs, jumps on people, chews on inappropriate items, is not housetrained (but is doing great!), and pulls on the leash—while biting it and twisting around your legs.

Frank Sinatra is a 10-week-old puppy that came into RAGOM's care from a breeder, along with four of his brothers. We are fostering him and his brother, Elvis 18-204.

I was amazed that we made it through the first 3 days with no accidents in the house! Then... it was my fault. Frank sleeps about 5 - 6 hours at night without needing a potty break.

He is currently afraid of the crate so he is kept in an X-pen fenced area overnight and when we are gone from the house. No accidents in their area! During the day, we let them out at least every 3 hours. General rule is to add 1 to a puppy's age in months—and that's how many hours they can be expected to hold it.

Since Frank is a puppy you can expect normal puppy behaviors like biting, chewing, jumping, and being totally ADORABLE! He weighed in at 17.6 pounds at less than 10 weeks old. Our vet says if you double their weight at 16 weeks old and add a few pounds, it's pretty close to the adult weight you can expect.

Tugs, stuffies, balls, and dog beds are a few of his favorite things.

Besides love, Frank needs an adopter who can provide: frequent potty breaks, lots of toys, exercise, socialization, and training. If your home has young children, interaction between a puppy and your children needs to be monitored closely to protect both the children and the puppy.
