Nancy is a GEM, she is the sweetest most loving and timid girl you have ever met.

Her real name is Ginger which was found out after she was in our care she is 8 years old and in very good health. Her story is one of those heartbreakers and once you have met her seems unimaginable that anyone could neglect her. This sweet one lived her life on the end of a chain in all the elements – chained to a tree. No one bothered to bring her food or water cuz they didn’t care……… No one to love her or touch her!! Just makes me so sad!!!

BUT those days are over and the good life has now begun. I have only had her for a week and half but she the sweetest soul I have met. She cannot get close enough to you (cannot blame her). She will not walk off the carpet onto the hard floors (yet). Wagging her tail all the time; she just looks up at you with pure joy. She is not sure about kisses……Loves the couch and the bed!! More to come later.

If you want a beautiful dog, with a heart of GOLD she would be your girl. Someone is going to be so lucky to have her as a companion.

This is my last update for Ginger 14 416.

I am thrilled to announce that Ginger has been adopted by two amazing people who have reached out to offer her the best life ever. Ginger could not be luckier to have hit the jackpot with these guys who absolutely adore her after a week. And today I got an email from one of them saying that they cannot believe how sweet she is and they cannot believe that they got her. Absolutely makes my heart sing with happiness that this sweet adorable girl has finally found her very own forever. She has a warm house to live in good food to eat and two really wonderful wonderful people that will offer her the best life has to offer.

I honestly fell so in love with Ginger and just loved her to pieces and really struggled with having to give her away. But I seriously know why I do what I do when we meet a family like this that gives her the home that she truly deserves .....and I can go on doing what it is that I do best because rescue matters and she is a true example of how rescue matters.

For Ginger, a real sweetheart & gentle soul   For Ginger, a real sweetheart & gentle soul From Donna T

Hi out there to all my fans I am doing so good. Being inside the house with food and water and two other fur brothers is wonderful. Love being loved. I really like my toys too.

Foster mom here. This little sweet pea is just so easy to have around. She really loves to snuggle with anyone that will snuggle with her. Her personality is pure sweetness she is a joy. Nancy has a lot to learn in life. She needs help with going for walks ( she is doing better every day) with a gentle leader she walks great. Without it she is a puller. She is quiet and not much of a barker she will if my two bark then she will chime in. She is not a super fan of being out in the cold weather and I cannot blame her. Her feet get very cold quickly.

She has been spay which was a much bigger deal because the vet said she must have had puppies and had a large uterus. They also removed a tumor that turned out to be cystic. She is very healthy and has a very lean body and a beautiful soft silky coat. She had a bath today and was scared but did good and she is even more soft (if that is possible).

I can only guess but she was probably used as a hunting dog she has a lot of mannerisms of a hunter. She has a pretty healthy prey drive. Squirrels and chipmunks don't have a chance.

Please let your placement adviser know if you would like to meet her
