Hi everyone,
Just a quick update and a few pics of our little buddy.
Gus is such a sweet and lovable guy and we are so happy that he is part of our family. We will do everything we can to help him live a long and healthy life. He is 50lbs already, all legs and feet. He loves to play and has lots of dog friends in our neighborhood and at daycare.
We graduated from kindergarten in December and have been practicing all our puppy skills and good behavior so we can hit the ground running next week when level one obedience starts. We ALL have a lot of learning to do :-) but It will be fun!
This week is all fun in the snow up on the north shore. Gus LOVES the snow!

Rob, now known as Gus, was adopted by the most wonderful family a foster mom could ask for! I’m so excited for sweet Gus! His life will be filled with all of the things every dog deserves and even more! Love you, Gus Gus; thanks for letting us love you up, share in your snuggles, and enjoy your sweet puppy breath. :) Enjoy your happily-ever-after!

Meet Rob! He is an 11-week-old, purebred, male Golden Retriever. This puppy is as sweet and wonderful as they come. He's got a gentle, easy-going temperament and is super smart! He is also a big boy! At 22 lbs and growing, he will likely be a rather large adult. He is healthy, happy, and handsome. He's learning all about life in his foster home, and everyone who meets him loves him.
Rob is a typical puppy. He's learning potty training, chews on everything he can get his sharp little teeth on, and rotates between full steam ahead and cuddles all day (and night!) long. He's quickly learned to sit for treats as well as the beginning of leash walking and kennel training. He's a quick study, but will need a family committed to helping him become the best dog he can be!
Puppies are adorable for a reason... They are a lot of work! Obedience training, continued socialization, and no longer than 5 hours alone at this age are a MUST in his adoptive home.
Rob currently lives with 3 young children, 2 other dogs (1-year-old Golden and 13-year-old Golden), 2 cats, and 5 chickens! He's playful with our young dog, respectful of our senior, loooves our kids, curious about the kitties, and scared of the chickens!
Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this sweet and special boy will have hit the jackpot! I have no doubt he will grow to be a fantastic companion and an extra handsome RAGOM ambassador. We're enjoying our puppy kisses while we can, because his days in foster care are numbered! Thanks, RAGOM, for saving another precious life and for giving this super Golden boy the chance to live his best life!
