Hannah has been adopted. She’s found her perfect forever home. She will be living in the country with lots of interesting things going on. Never a dull moment from now on. She acquires 2 brothers, Henri and Samson. They think she’s great. Her new mom and dad have many years of experience with dogs and have dealt with their various dogs’ health issues and are ready for anything that comes up. She’s a very lucky girl.  Hannah, we love you.

Hi, everyone! My name is Hannah! I am six years old. They tell me I am a healthy purebred Golden Retriever. I lived my whole life with my dad, and then he sadly passed away, so my world was turned upside down. I came into the organization called RAGOM and after a couple stops with some friendly people, I took a long ride to my current home in a place called Iowa. The first couple days of here, I was pretty sad; I didn't have much of an appetite and I know FM was a little worried that I wouldn't eat, but if you have ever lost someone you really loved, then you can understand that I just wasn't hungry. I did come to realize that things aren't so bad here and FM gives me lots of love and attention. I LOVE attention and have that thing you all call the Golden nudge perfected! I get really excited when FM's 19-year-old granddaughter comes to visit. I give her lots of kisses! I heard FM say that I always seem to perk up when teenage kids come around.

In my last house, I had a fence and I could run around the yard and do my business. This place does not have a fence, and they put this thing on me that I have to drag around. I was quite confused by this at first, and although I have figured out how to pee while on this, I have yet to figure out how they want me to go #2 on this thing. I know I probably haven't made FM too happy by doing #2 in the house and I will keep trying to get used to this new thing called a tie-out. With this being said, I would LOVE to have a fenced yard in my forever home where I could go do my business in peace.

I had two dog brothers in my previous home; here, they have a Corgi. He doesn't pay much attention to me, and I don't try to play with him or anything. I think he is pretty old or something. I do get along with other dogs, and until coming here, I had not seen this thing they call a cat. There are two here, and one of them hisses at me, so I leave that grouchy thing alone. The other one will run from me, and I think she wants to play, so I chase after her, but FM tells me no, so I stop and leave her alone. FM says I could have cats in my new home, because I don't try to hurt them or anything; I just try to run after them every once in a while and I guess if you don't want me to do that, I will listen when you tell me to stop.

I went on a ride today to that scary place called the VET. I was shaking pretty badly when they were getting me up on the table. He checked me over and put this microchip thing in me, so now if I get lost, they can return me to the right person. I am already spayed, my heartworm test was negative, I am up to date on my shots, and my fecal test was negative, too! I thought it was pretty rude that FM didn't even thank me for leaving her a stool sample on the living room floor to take to the vet to be tested this morning. The gave me a manicure as well and trimmed my nails. He did say I had some dirty ears, but hey, I am a Golden Retriever, right?! We are prone to getting yeast in our ears. FM is going to clean them and get that all cleared up for me.

I have never been in a crate and have free roam when they are gone. FD hangs out with me during they day. He is retired, so we watch lots of western movies! My favorite spot to hang out is on the couch. At night, when everyone is in bed, sometimes I will sleep with FM and FD, but sometimes I just stay downstairs and sleep on the couch. I am a pretty easy-going girl and I have good manners in the house. I will bark to let you know when someone is there and then stop when I know you heard me. I will try to eat your food, but if you tell me no, I will listen. I get excited when you come home and sometimes will jump up, but again, I know what the word "NO" means. FM says I listen well. I love toys, but do de-stuff them, also I guess someone told on me, and when I was young and dumb, I ate some credit cards and a wallet. They gave me this awful medicine until I threw up the wallet. Lesson learned. Well, kinda... I do still like socks... and paper towels and napkins... so you may have to keep that stuff up, because I might swipe them from you.

Do I sound like a girl that could live with you? I know I am not perfect, but FM says I am pretty close. Plus who is perfect, right!? If you would like to learn more about me, please fill out an inquiry for me!!
