Hi everyone! Harper here!
These last few weeks have been so much fun and I've really adjusted well to my foster home. My bubbly and goofy personality is coming out more and more every day and I just love life! Especially the little things like napping by the fire or a nice long belly rub. I even like to go for car rides now! They used to really scare me, but as long as I can sit on Foster Mom's lap, I really enjoy it. I even get to stick my nose out the window if it isn't too cold.
I've learned some new tricks like how to "sit". I'd still love to take a puppy class with my forever family some day, but until then, I've been studying!
Some of my favorite things are:
- Going for walks with Etta. I LOVE hopping around in the snow and checking out all that there is to see. I think you'd be impressed with how well I can keep up with the family. I'm basically just a Golden Retriever in a little dog's body.
- Dance parties in the kitchen with Foster Mom and Dad and Etta. This might be my FAVORITE thing ever. I pick up my paws and hop around in circles when I see them dancing. Sometimes I jump up and give 2 high-fives and then spin in a circle. I never realized before, but I have some pretty cool dance moves. I even do something that resembles the Moon Walk. I think I'm going to name it "The Harper".
- Yoga! Sometimes Foster Mom does Yoga in the living room and let me tell you, I could be an instructor I'm so good at my Down-Dogs! Whenever I see that yoga mat come out, first I go and make sure it's nice and warm for Mom, then I make sure to show her proper form by doing the perfect Chaturanga. She even lets me share the mat with her, though she's always laughing at me for some reason.
- Trying new foods! I've learned that I LOVE healthy treats. My favorites are baby carrots, bell peppers, pumpkin and the occasional taste of a banana. I've finally reached my ideal body weight after coming into RAGOM very malnourished, but I still enjoy my treats!
I would love to meet you so please let me know if you think I could be a good fit for your family!

Hello everyone!
Harper, here! Well, I keep hearing Foster Mom and Dad talking every day about how they should write my update but they can't seem to get their act together, so I am taking things into my own paws and handling this one! They are boring anyways.
Life has been great these past few weeks and I am so lucky to be a RAGOM dog! I've learned so many things since my last update! I know my name now and come running whenever Foster Mom calls me. I love stuffed toys, playing fetch and napping in front of the Fireplace.

I've been a really good girl and because I am not destructive and have never had an accident, I now get free roam of the house and I even get to sleep in bed with Foster Mom and Dad and Foster Sister, Etta! I really love snuggling up with Etta. She calls me the little spoon.

I really don't like to be crated, so I've made sure to show Foster Mom that she can trust me when she leaves and I really hope I can find a home where I don't have to be crated. I can get a little scared in there all by myself and Foster Mom says I have some mild anxiety about being confined. I think that's from my past because I came from a Hoarding situation with lots of other animals. I really just want to be near you!
Foster Sister Etta and I have become best friends and I really hope that my Forever Home will have another dog or little kids to love me. I really love kids!
Speaking of, the Holidays were SO MUCH FUN! I got to go along to lots of Christmas parties and meet lots of different people, kids, a really, really big dog called a Munsterlander and even some cats. I love everybody that I meet and greet them with kisses and tail wags.
Foster Mom asked me to pass along a few things too: -I still get pretty scared about car rides and new places, so Foster Mom recommends that I go to a home with another dog so that I don't get lonely. This isn't required but I would do really well with another confident dog showing me the ropes! -She hopes that I find a home that will work with me on my training and maybe even take me to an obedience class! I'm a fast learner, but because of my past, everything is still pretty new to me. -I shouldn't be crated so hopefully my Forever home will trust me as much as Foster Mom does and let me have free roam.
I really want to meet you! I don't know why my webpage has said that I am closed to apps because I am still eagerly waiting for somebody to meet me! If you think I might be a good fit for your Family, please contact your placement adviser!
