Hope has been with her foster family for about 2 weeks now and has been adjusting to her new life in Minnesota. Here are some few things we learned about Hope—her strengths, quirks and everything in between: 

• Hope is very playful and loves toys. She loves exploring outdoors. She likes playing in the snow with her Beagle foster brother. Hope also likes playing fetch and she is a perfect retriever. She will try to jump and catch the toy/ball up in the air and will return it to her foster mom right away.

• Even though she's very energetic outdoors, once inside the house, Hope is very mellow and chill. She loves just hanging—out or napping right next to foster dad or foster mom. Hope is very well-behaved.
• She is free-roam in the house but will sometimes take naps in her crate. She is left in the house, with her two foster siblings about 8-9 hours a day, few days a week and no accidents so far. She sleeps on her bed or couch in the bedroom. 

• Hope is very smart and listens very well. She is treat-motivated and learns very fast. She will sometimes gets curious on trash but responds right away with a firm "No". 

• During walks, Hope likes to sniff—always very curious of the new smells. She stops and observes her surroundings a lot. She is friendly to all the people she meets and ignores other dogs. Hope loves getting pets from everyone. She's a total sweetheart! 

Hope's past may not be the greatest. She's been through some tough times and probably treated badly before, but that did not stop her from being affectionate and loving. If you want to add more sunshine and a happy tail in your home, Hope is right here, waiting for you!
