In addition to LOVE this dog has the following requirements:
Entered Foster Care Fence Kid Friendly Another Dog Cat Friendly
9/20/2014 Not required Yes  Optional  Yes
This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

We welcomed her to our home on Saturday evening, September 20th. After introducing her to our resident dog, she had a very quiet night and very quickly became part of our daily routines. She is a very sweet girl. Loves to be petted.

  • She is always excited to see us when we get home and loves to give kisses.
  • She has mouthed our hands, but does not bite or put any pressure to it.
  • Likes to and rides in the car well, but doesn’t like when our resident dog moved around a lot while the two were in the back seat during a long road trip.
  • She has gone for walks. She pulls a little and needs to learn how to heel, and does follow the "sit" command well and will lie down when told.
  • Met new people and strange dogs with success: no disagreements, just respectful meetings.
  • She has met and been deemed OK by our resident cats and she seems to like them, but respectfully.

Personality we are noticing:

  • This dog is a lover and likes lots of pets from her humans. When she is not doing the Golden paw or nose to hand nudge for pets, she lies quietly on a floor near foster mom or I.
  • She has free run of the house when we are home and has been in her crate while we are away, and seems very comfortable in it.
  • She takes treats very gently.

Upcoming events for her:

  • She had a wellness check on 9/24/14. Other than having a hypothyroid condition that she has ongoing medication for and a hot spot that is healing, she is in very good health.

This is a very sweet gal. When available, her forever family could have another dog and cats and small children. She is so sweet she is giving us cavities.
