Quincy is a handsome light blonde boy with lots of puppy energy. He is from a commercial breeding environment which directly impacts his lack of experience outside of a kennel. Amazingly, he does not mind the kennel and often puts himself in the kennel for some quiet time. He is working on basic commands and appropriate behavior in the home while in foster care. It will be necessary for him to continue basic obedience. Quincy will need a home with children over 10 years of age and cannot have a yard with an invisible fence.

Dear All,

Luka is doing very well with our family and it feels as if he has always been with us. He is one of the most affectionate dogs we have ever had and while he has two mature dog brothers, he consistently is the one who pushes everyone else aside to make sure that he gets hugged first and held the longest whenever people are around. He has picked up a couple of pounds and is filling out very nicely. He does very well with both of our other dogs but is particularly bonded to our 1 year old golden, Oliver. The two are pretty much inseparable. I promise that Luka is never lonely! We are still working on training issues such as what is and what is not appropriate to use as a chew toy but that comes with puppy development. He is much loved and cherished. Thank you all for helping us find each other.

Quincy has been adopted by a wonderful couple where he will mature into one of the pack.  He has two fur siblings to welcome him and teach him all the right things.  Congratulations to the P family.  Quincy will bring lots of love and laughter to your home!

Quincy is a very big and handsome purebred Golden Retriever.  He is light blonde in color and 7 months old, born on 5/3/17.  Happy, playful, and full of puppy energy as he discovers everything new and different from the breeding lifestyle.  

While Quincy is in foster care we are working on his social manners, such as mouthing and trying to jump on or get on his humans' laps. He is learning sit and lay down pretty well.  As far as potty training goes, he has had only two accidents and both were definitely his foster mom's fault.

Quincy has been to the vet and received all of his vaccinations.  He is scheduled for his neuter the second week of December and will then be able to go to his forever home.
