Welcome Mandy to RAGOMland!
Mandy is a light golden female approximately 3 years young. She has had her wellness exam and received her vaccinations. She is heartworm-negative, and there were no surprises in her stool.
Mandy is a breeder surrender. She has a very engaging, happy-go-lucky personality and she very eagerly seeks attention from her humans. Mandy has learned about glass doors very quickly, but she also does not hesitate when it is time to go outside, as she cautiously checks to see if there is a glass present. Mandy is accident-free in the 1 1/2 weeks she has been in my home. She has no issues with using the kennel when the door is left open and all the dog beds are occupied. She still needs encouragement to enter if she is being kenneled while I am away. She eats all her kibble when meals are served and she is eating in her kennel. Mandy has successfully negotiated stairs, going both up and down with confidence in only a few days.
Mandy's only bad habit is picking up items and carrying them around. This has resulted in the water bucket being emptied on the floor, so now they are offered drinks and then the bucket is put out of reach. Mandy also likes to carry many items just to have them next to her, and the remote control has bit the dust. Mandy will need to be monitored so she does not attempt to chew or swallow any of the inappropriate items she fondly collects. The great thing is she loves to be next to her humans, so it is easy to watch her. Just don't turn you back or walk away from anything you don't want her to have access to. Oh, she also shreds paper, which is not unusual for a puppy mamas for bedding.
I have scheduled her spay for the 24th of April, but she eagerly accepts any applicant interested in adding her to their family. Mandy will need a confident, large dog to learn the ways of living in a home with humans from her other dog buddy.
