This fantastic dog passed away on March 23, 2018. Max was a beautiful pet who came to us mostly perfect from RAGOM when we were sadly missing another Golden. Thank you, RAGOM, for making him part of our lives. We will never forget our beloved buddy. His vet believed he suffered from a form of blood or lymph cancer. Until the last couple of months, he loved walks, food, car rides, accompanying mom and dad during all chores and yard work, and eating snow.
Here is a fantastic poem written about Max on Jan.12, 2012 by our daughter:
Ode to My Dog Max
Playful, lovable, cute and furry.
Loud, whiny, energetic and brainy.
I always find myself loving you more,
Than the day I did before.
If we're on a walk it will be a hurry,
Rain, shine, snow or flurries.
It's pretty hard core.
My foot my develop a sore.
Why won't you go outside to potty
Unless someone is with you, like Mommy?
When someone walks through the door,
You act like a burglar alarm, creating an uproar.
Off the floor you eat every crumby.
I know you like to fill your tummy.
When I bring a treat from the store,
You're always ready for an encore.
Even though you can be whiny,
You still make me smiley.
One thing I know for sure,
We will always have amour.
Sincerely, The W Family
