Milo was adopted today by previous RAGOM adopters, Rob and Patty.  He will have a fursister, Maggie, to chase balls and swim with at their Wisconsin cabin.  Rob will be taking Milo on his daily 5 mile walks - that should burn off some of Milo’s energy!  He is such a happy boy who will bring joy to his new family for many years.

Welcome to America Milo!  This healthy one year old male was found tied to a tree in the forest near Istanbul.  Thanks to wonderful volunteers in Turkey and the US, he is now living the Golden life in America.

This beautiful boy is full of joy and energy.  He is happy all the time and loves to play with anything and anyone.  He can really jump too - he is able to jump onto his crate or a table in a single bound!  For this reason, we have been calling him Jumpin Jack Flash!!  He responds to Jack rather than Milo.  He jumped on people often when he first came but now understands that is not appropriate behavior.  He understands a few commands and is housebroken.  He has not had any accidents in the 2.5 weeks he has been with us.  He gets along with all of our dogs.  Has not seen a cat since he's been with us.  He pulls hard when walking on a leash - we are now using a harness and he's walking much better.

He is up to date on immunizations, is heartworm negative, and has been neutered.  He has been treated for bilateral ear infections.  He has no skin issues.  He eats well and has no elimination problems.

If you're looking for a young male with a lot of energy, Jack is your guy.  The adopter will need to devote time for training and teaching this wonderful dog to be the best dog he can be.  He is a gem!!  Just look at that face.
