This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

The first couple of days with Murphy have been great.  He is very gentle and sweet.  He has been well behaved - no mouthing, barking, jumping, counter surfing or aggression.  He doesn't jump on bed or furniture.  Murphy ignores resident dog for the most part, walks on leash went very well.  He may have skin allergy issues and/or food.  He went to the vet this week and was very good.  So far we've determined he knows sit and lay down.  Murphy is very obedient with a silky, thick, medium red coat.  He is medium in height and very solid in girth - may need to loose a few pounds and the vet agrees.  No accidents in house and sleeps through the night.  He likes to be near you, but not on top of you.  We don't know how he is with kids or cats yet.

Hi-its me Murphy.

I wanted to let everyone know what a good boy I have been during my first week at my foster parents' house. I like to follow them around the house and lay at their feet while they are watching tv or working in their home office. I am very quiet, not a barker as I prefer to use my mouth to give kisses and eat treats. I went to the vet this week who said I am healthy except that I should loose a few pounds. Oh well, I guess we all could stand to loose a few pounds in January. Sometimes I get itchy and get hot spots but the vet said regular Benadryl will take care of that. I get really excited when its time for a walk with the resident dog. I walk like a gentleman and greet other dogs appropriately. To tell you the truth though, I am a little jealous of the resident dog but I am not mean to him. I just want all of the kisses and the bed to myself. I like to eat leashes so my foster parents put them away until its time for my walk. I haven't chewed anything else though and I don't have accidents in the house. My foster parents think my perfect "furever" home is one on the quieter side without another dog or only one confident, non-aggressive dog who likes to take long walks. I will be at Chuck and Don's in Edina at 1:30pm on Saturday January 18th if you would like to meet me in person. That's all for now xoxo-Murphy 14-005.
