Raiden is a 1 1/2 year old purebred Golden Retriever. He is a very beautiful boy who will steal your heart in mere moments. Raiden was surrendered to RAGOM by his family who wanted more for him than they could give him right now. Raiden is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He did have worms on his initial vet visit so he will be receiving a second dose of wormer this week. Raiden also appears to have seasonal allergies so we will discuss that with the vet at his next appointment.Raiden is a young boy who has some energy to burn but not the kind that is out of control. He loves to carry things around, be it stuffed toys, a ball or as you can see here, a rawhide roll. This particular day he ended up taking a nap while holding the rawhide in his mouth. He slept that way for about 20 minutes. What a goofball!Raiden17131c1.jpg       Raiden17131c2.jpgRaiden came from a family of six children. He loved following the children around. He is a Velcro boy and wants to be with his people. Raiden would love a family who could teach him some basic obedience and give him play time to burn off some of his energy. He is a very smart boy and listens well, so it wouldn't take long to teach him what he needs to know. He knows his name and has very good recall. We take our dogs for daily walks and then have extra play time for Raiden in our fenced in yard. He loves fetching! If you would love to open your home to this young boy and give him the exercise and training that any young dog needs, he will give you all the love and devotion you could ever want in return.

Our beautiful boy, Raiden, has much to celebrate. He has found his very own furever family! He met the L. family and it was love at first sight! When they get back from their vacation we will be making it all official and then Raiden will be off to start his great adventure with his new family.
In the meantime, Raiden and our resident dog have been keeping each other company. During those hot and humid days we had last week, the dogs weren't out for long. Each of them got something new to chew on so they could pass the time in the air conditioning. Raiden loves to have something to chew on!

We will send in one more update when Raiden's big day next weekend is completed. Yay for Raiden!
